Completely agree. I'm gearing up for a solo 4 hour drive now and it's definitely going in the rotation.
Weird question - Has anyone ITT played the video game Night in the Woods? I've not listened to this album myself yet but my brother has it on constantly, and some of these tracks sound like the could have been lifted right from NitW soundtrack. To the point where he was playing 'Batphone' and I mentioned the similarities, then I was convinced he'd put on the NitW soundtrack to troll me but it actually turned out to be 'Golden Trunks'. This is far from a criticism as the music in that game is truly incredible, but I'm skimming through the album now and I cannot get past this, it is uncanny in places!
Is it too late to list? Fake Tales of San Francisco Balaclava Crying Lightening The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala One For The Road/Arabella Science Fiction
Seeing everybody so hyped about the album made me want to give it a try, but the first song I listened to gave me the same feeling as listening to Greta Van Fleet except now it’s Bowie and I couldn’t even make it all the way through. Definitely a time when I wish I could borrow someone else’s ears to experience what they are.
Just remember one thing: Gregg rulez ok I can't list my favorite songs from each album that's too much pressure
I put a taquería on the roof, it was well reviewed Four stars out of five And that's unheard of I still don't like this record but I like this line a LOT.
Yeah, honestly? Fuck that. I don't care how much I like a band. That's some crazy shit. That's like rewiring your brain/acquired taste kind of of stuff I just don't want to deal with.
So I don't mean to start a ranking fest, but I've been trying to come up with an order for these guys as I've gotten super into them since the new record came out. I think this is probably going to be unpopular with the majority, but it's what I feel right now FWN = SIAS > TBHC > AM > WPSIAM > HUMBUG
alright fine Whatever People Say I Am Humbug Favorite Worst Nightmare Tranquility AM Suck It And See Tranquility could switch with FWN in the future
Humbug AM Suck It and See Whatever... Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino Favourite Worst Nightmare Tranquility could move up. Whatever... is a better album than Suck It and See, I just love the latter so much. And I think I've said before in this thread, I wouldn't give any of those albums lower than an 8. Unreal run.
this has changed basically every week since I started listening to the band but uh FWN - 9.8/10 Suck It and See - 9.5/10 Whatever People Say I Am - 8.7/10 Tranquility Base - 8.3/10 Humbug - 8/10 AM - 6/10 seriously, how many bands have evolved this much and still retained such a tight hold on the radio/charts as these guys? absolute fucking madmen
I never really got into the Arctic Monkeys before, but I put this album on and it blew me away. Now I've been going backwards through the discography and god damn I've been missing out. Better late than never I guess.
