I saw them live last week and can confirm these new songs are great live

I think it would be really bold if they played the whole thing in full for the first half of the set

 

feels like a missed opportunity to not do carpool karaoke with them haha

 

That performance makes me appreciate SLLF a lot more.

 

Suppose I'll give it more listens, but it really didn't do much for me the first time around.

 

I'm really enjoying this, didn't expect that.

Very, very Bowie influenced imo, and that's fine with me.

 

Lyrics from this keep popping into my head throughout the day. There's so many gems on this album.

Title track might be my outright favorite on the album, his vocals are so fuckin nice on it

 

This is a dense record.
10 listens or so...and everytime I like something new...and dislike something else.

Need to go deep with headphones a few more times.

I really want to know what their live show "feels" like now

 

Imagine listening to American Sports and then TBHC and not liking the drumming.

 

This is a great record, probably their best. This will for sure go down (as of right now) the quintessential AM record. This is the one that will endure 20 years from now.

 

What a ballsy move. Gotta respect it. Arguably the biggest guitar band in the world....5 year hiatus, snag a bunch of major festival headlining slots...and then drop a wordy piano driven record about living on the moon. Here for it.

 

That one little riff at Batphone reminds me Brand New so bad for some reason

 

Doesn't remind me of Brand New, but is definitely my favorite little part of the record.
