also, listened to this four times today, the last two with lyrics, which definitely increased the enjoyment

 

fuck this album is so groovy

 

To anyone that likes this album but isn’t that familiar with some of Alex’s other stuff, I highly recommend listening to The Last Shadow Puppets. This is one of my favorite songs Alex has ever made.

 

Love that song.

 

This is my exact list too.

 

Right now I think I have Tranquility ahead of SIAS and AM. The other 3 are a bit tougher to order, and I'l have to give Tranquility some more time before I fully decide.

 

Anyone here get the limited edition silver vinyl with the booklet? If so, how does it look and sound? I just ordered it last night. Pretty excited to get it.

Album seems to be getting a tremendous amount of hate online...

Hopefully the album still does well, would be great if they could get a top 10 debut in the US.

think The Only Ones Who Know is maybe the song that predicted this style would come maybe the best

I feel like the lyrics on Library Pictures foreshadow his style of writing for TBHC pretty well, although there's no musical similarities ofc

Suck It and See was my least favorite record (now TBHC is) and I just revisited it this morning. It’s definitley underrated and I been a fool for disliking it so much in the past.

 

people who aren't drummers (the poster may be a drummer, idk), tend to think simple drumming isn't good which is just wrong
