I’m so bummed I won’t be at that show. I’ll be at the LA one on Saturday, but I live in San Diego!

I listened to some of the new stuff. Sounds really cool honestly, very ready for next week.

 

I'm waiting until the album is out, resisting the temptation to listen to those videos will be tough though

 

dammit i thought this was out the 25th, I should have just waited. My buddy (HUUUUUGE AM fan) has his wedding on the 11th. what a wedding gift from his favorite band.

 

I caved, listening to Four Out of Five now. Like what I'm hearing.

 

Also just looked at the setlist and saw they opened with The View From the Afternoon. They haven't played that in forever, yeah?
I've only seen them twice, in 2012 and 2014, and never got that song. One of my favorites, hope they keep it in the set by July!

 

I'm waiting until album drops to listen, but happy to see good impressions

 

I'm managing to avoid listening to the new songs. a friend of mine said she saw a comment on a live video describing a new song as "if Humbug and Everything You've Come To Expect had a baby" which I'm very intrigued by.
also fuuuuck yeah at them playing You're So Dark live, I hope they play that one at the Toronto date

 

I did listen to the new live arrangement for "Hellcat..." and that was fantastic.

 

Apparently someone did an Instagram livestream of the whole album, it may be out there online soon...

 

Don't think a legit copy of it has leaked yet but people have been posting their reactions to the Instagram stream of it. I'm certainly not experiencing the album that way when it comes out in a few days lol.

i downloaded the leak to see how bad it could be, and yeah the quality is unlistenable

 

Album is now out there in at least passable quality it seems... I haven't listened yet but am about to.

 

I’m holding out for my preorder to arrive

 

Leak is good quality. Listening now... this is wild.

 

Wow, this is gorgeous. Very different for them and takes more patience, but I can already tell there's gonna be a ton to dig into on repeat listens. Very Bowie and Father John Misty-esque. I'm thoroughly blown away.
