These guys might be bigger in America than I thought they were Excited to finally see them for the first time though
I Ain't Quite Where I Think I Am is fantastic. Weird that TBHC still wont click with me, but yet these three singles Im in love with.
Same. I don't listen to leaks but from what I gather there isn't really anything upbeat on this album which is a little disappointing to hear, I was hoping for a mix of the TBHC sound with maybe some more energy Still very excited though because I did love the last album
yeah a lot to digest on this one. found the closer a bit underwhelming especially after "Ultracheese" but hopefully I'm wrong there. definitely less cohesive than TBHC but man when that pays off it's worth it
this album's fucking beautiful and I only had the chance for a vinyl kinda-background listen. studio Body Paint and title track/Hello You are AMAZING wtf
wondering if alex monkey listens to steely dan...some moments here and there give me serious dan vibes
Would like to take this opportunity, on the eve of a new Arctic Monkeys album, to encourage everyone to check out Alexandra Savior’s two albums. Alex Turner and James Ford worked on the first album, which I think she kind of ended up resenting because that was all anyone wanted to ask her about, but her follow up from 2020 (without either involved) was just as strong.
Really loving this album. Her music is so good for this time of year too…I love the menacing feel to that first album. also, Sculptures of Anything Goes reminded me of a few tracks on that album for sure.
