I wish I had the self control to not listen to live recordings of new songs but Body Paint sounds absolutely incredible. This album seems like it's building off of TBH&C sonically but with more grounded (or at least emotional/relatable) lyrics. Can't wait.

Gotta say, wasn't a fan at all of TBHC and wasn't the biggest fan of the first single, but this... I don't know why but this song just got me. Music video is lovely too.

Yeah this song is incredible live. Not gonna hop on the “ahhh why can’t the studio version sound like the live version” train because they’re clearly going for a quieter cinematic vibe on the album — but the second half of this song really pops live. Great performance, Alex Turner absolute weirdo king
