the word going around when the album announced was mirrorball as the single coming out on tuesday so that seems to be panning out so far

 

I think so, it feels like a slightly more polished Humbug, but not fully polished like they are on AM.

 

Gonna listen to TB tonight. My favourites now are One Point Perspective, Four Out of Five, and Monster Truck

Wow this is gorgeous. Makes sense as a more grounded continuation from TBHC but so much more melancholy.

If there’s more songs in this vein then it’s gonna make for an incredible “cinematic sad late night drinking” playlist alongside some of the better tracks off the last FJM record.
