This is not good. These dudes need to stop trying to reinvent the wheel. They’re cooked.

I enjoyed it, same as the last album. Just haven't listened to it much later on, but I'll check this one out.

Idk why but I dig this. It’s like hypnotic smoky lounge music

Immediately like this more than anything on TBHC.

I know the band doesn't want to write AM again, which sucks because that's such a primal, great record. But man, if it can be this lush, acid jazz fuck dungeon music, I'm not really gonna say no. Let them be Steely Dan.

The live video that came out recently was disappointing. I’m over the smoky lounge. I think they can do something in the realm of rock that does reinvent the wheel but still makes you want to go wild at the concert. Although reading these comments, I’ll give this another shot. This band was a staple when the first few records came out.

As a massive Steely Dan fan, and not so much of a Monkeys fan yet...
Steely Dan is far more complex, deep, unstructured. Steely Dan lyrics are dark and twisted AF. And 80% of their catalog carries heavier hooks than anything in this song.

This song makes me want to explore this band more though, I never gave them a shot earlier in their discography

Hmm I thought they were the kind of band that change it up with each record but this sounds like picking straight up where TBHC left off..

Guess I can swap out my kids lullabies with the Arctic Monkeys because they've become a snoozefest.

Was really hoping for a return to form.

I really like this song but, then again, I liked their last record. THey are never going back to making pub rock so those hoping for a return to form are probably just going to have to re-listen to the first two.

I gave this song a 2nd chance today. It’s still horrible. RIP

I mean, this isn't terrible in its own right, but I do wish they'd pick it up a little bit.

Cool with the Mr Turner lounge croon & showing us how to age with swagger

TBHC was a bit of a stretch in direction but I grew to like quite a bit of it. This just feels like they really doubled down on that move and while its not bad, per se, it's also not what I want from AM.
