New song sounds massive
It's so fucking good!
Holy shit, was not expecting to see this when I woke up this morning. I need to spend some time watching the video but after my first listen, this is top notch Architects, as expected.
Loved this. Sounds like they will do fine living up to Tom's memory
This is great.
Woah, am I the only one who didn't know the band was continuing on?
Well immediately after Tom passed they said they were going to at least finish their touring commitments, and even back then they said they might release new music. So I think so
I had felt like I read about them being uncertain about the future. Either way, sounds great. Happy they decided to stick with it.
This is great news. He's a fantastic guitar player and fits the band really well. Bodes well for them writing and releasing more music in the future.
Side note, Doomsday is now on all major streaming platforms, have at it!
Is he from another band? I've never heard of him before. Also, he looks like Colin from Circa lol.
He's in Sylosis
There's some really good insight into Josh's connection with the band on the SWIM podcast.
Episode 18: Dan Searle (Architects) | Someone Who Isn't Me on acast
first live performance of Doomsday
God dammit I love this band
also here's their incredible cover of Nirvana's Territorial Pissing.
Sam Carter is the man.
Their gig at Ally Pally last night was just incredible but boy am I broken today. Don’t think I’ve been in a pit that hectic for so long.
Seriously though it was so good to see that many people celebrating such an great band. For a band that plays this type of music to be able to sell out a venue that big is just so awesome to see.
ya, this tour has been incredible. I hope the success they're seeing can mend some of the pain.
Here’s a vid I took last night.
they sound perfect
Yeah I think this tour along with Brixton last year is definitely giving them the drive to move forward. Doomsday proper went off too.
Dan and Sam did a really heartwarming speech just prior to it too with this projected up on stage.
