I am familiar with it, I like the original. The cover isn't bad, just not really what I wanted from a first single. I'm sure I'll still love the album.

shit. just downloaded it but haven't listened yet. will probably skim through it but I was not looking forward to an EDM album to begin with so...

 

this fucking blows so bad god dammit what is he doing

 

honestly the sound he was working with on electronic dream and occasionally since then makes more sense now than it did in 2011, in that he wasn't making these huge bombastic drops like the other fest acts were but was tinkering with more soothing and chilling sounds. in a post-tropical house landscape i think that people would be more receptive to that than this aggro garbage

 

how did he fuck this up so bad

 

i mean his live sets have been like classic dubstep for a while, still would be amazing to go see him. blew me away at pitchfork
