but for real what a weird movie. I honestly don’t remember but did Momoa just basically act like his douchey bro self for his other aquaman performances? He even has the douchebag scarf hanging out of his back pocket for half the movie. The “message” doesn’t even try to be subtle. Exposition out the ass. A few fun adjacent scenes I guess. The vehicle things are stolen from war of the worlds, the pirate bar scene is stolen from Star Wars and the ending is literally Ironman. They barely spend any time in Atlantis which is easily the coolest part of these movies. Weird editing, weird pace. Weird movie. Over Momoa at this point especially since he’s an asshat in real life.

Also there’s no way Nicole Kidman has watched either of these movies right?

I don't get it. Isn't Topo the drumming octopus? Does he not drum in the movie?

I have this in right now only half paying attention, but it’s so far been fun nonsense? I enjoy the relationship between Mamoa and Wilson. Seems really really stupid but fuck it, it’s entertainingly so
