And you’d still recommend them despite the Sonos app disaster?

 

The app is bad, but getting better, and I do think they're on the right path with the new CEO. But for me the speakers all still work, and they work to AirPlay to, which is 99% of the way I use them (gotta get those scrobbles). And for that, playing and just listening, they've been pretty bullet proof. And they sound really, really good.

This has been bouncing around my head the past few weeks and is picking up speed in my thoughts as I prepare to head to a conference in a few weeks and will be taking notes (still deciding if I want to do digital or analog notes for that)...

Has anyone ever figured out a way to completely reset Apple Notes? I have 352 notes, most of which I never refer back to. I'd love to clone the data so I can refer/bring over things I need and start from scratch.

I think I've found this before but I recall it lacking a feature I needed. It's great for text notes.

wasn't someone in here talking about how much they love the powerbeats pros last year?

as long as they're on the same level of sound quality as airpods pro 2s i might have to dip into my tax return, those new features plus the ear hook seem worth an upgrade to me...

 

I was fully prepared to go to this conference and take notes on my laptop since I might also end up working a bit while I'm there. Conference notes ask to not take notes on a laptop during sessions. I've become a fairly quiet typer thanks to doing onsites with clients but I get why they ask.

So now I'm thinking I'm either doing handwritten notes or doing them on my iPad with either the pencil or onscreen keyboard. Or I say fuck it and just do the laptop since I know I'm quieter than others.

 

The idea of a small amount of work being done on my 11-inch iPad Pro gives me heartburn.

 

really had some issues with the first version, the beats fit pros are much better

 

I had some Powerbeats, loved them but I don't think I'll ever go back now with the hearing aid functionality of the AirPod Pros

 

they got uncomfortable fast and the charging apparatus for the case had terrible issues with being in the case but not being in the exact right position to get the damned things to start charging

 

I remember that. And that giant fucking case.

 

use them about everyday at the gym and the sound quality is definitely comparable to the AirPod pros, they rule.

only downside is on the OGs you'll have to keep an eye on them because they sometimes come off the charging sensor in the case and don't charge, sorta annoying but doesn't happen to frequently to me

 

They are 20% lighter which is dope and looks like they really focused in on fit and wearability

 

Yeah if I can trade in or sell my old ones I definitely want to upgrade

 

gonna hold off for the eventual beats fit pro 2s

 

Wish I had thought about this before my conference next week - my iPad is right at 80% battery life. Suppose I can get through the week with a battery pack each day if needed.

 

pulled the trigger on the powerbeats yesterday. supposedly still on track to arrive tomorrow but UPS tracking hasn't been reliable for me in a minute..

 

let me know how they are, still debating on getting them or not lol
