man, idk! the sheath on my 13pro max is a perfect fit. the phone definitely shouldnt be coming out of the case, there isnt MUCH lip on the front but there is some. it fits pretty snug.

i have a sheath on my 15 pro max as well and it fits perfectly normal. maybe it's defective? or are you sure it's pressed all the way in? it's a pretty snug fit.

 

I took it off and on multiple times. Part of me wants to wait till they send the free button cover version, but I’m not sure. The pics show what I’m talking about. Looks like I’m back to case-shopping for this generation.

 

I'm going caseless with the 15 Pro. I will let you all know once I've smashed the thing.

 

I decided to stick with the FineWoven because I couldn’t find anything else that I liked in 3rd party leather cases, after nearly two weeks of use I’m actually pleasantly surprised with how well it’s held up, and the wear that it does have comes out as a sort of patina effect not unlike the leather. My only complaint is that the edges are very slippery and it makes it easy to drop the phone.

 

Spent like five hours yesterday setting up a widget screen and two different home screens for going in and out of focus mode with the action button. Went ham on all kinds of shortcuts and widgets, got the Widgy app to spice things up.

Can’t wait to use such an optimized experience to not change my life in any meaningful way.

 

Mine is starting to smoothen in feel in some spots, which I like. Still would have gone with another option if I could go back in time as of now.

It's still feeling slippery for me too. I haven't full on dropped it yet, but it always feels like I can at any moment lol

 

How's the 15 Pro Max for everybody? I never enjoyed my 12 Pro Max and feel like upgrading.

 

I'm enjoying it. Based on how I use my device, the 15 would have been the better option for me. I just wanted a 120hz display.

I was using a 12 before, so I'm still getting used to the dynamic island, and adjusting where I would usually tap when in apps.

 

i am not enjoying the new typing system or whatever in iOS 17 at all. idk if it's my big fat fingers or what but every time i try to like manually place the cursor back a few words in a sentence it always just highlights the word to the right and i can't get it to go away for like 3-4 taps. seems minor but it makes me so fucking angry lol

 

YES this has been driving me nuts. Also, sometimes "Select All" is available, and other times you need to tap the arrow to get to it.

 

Y’all don’t hold on the space bar and move the cursor like a mouse?

i mean i do like 99% of the time but sometimes i just want to tap once to get the goddamn thing to go where i want it to go lol

 

I remember I used to jailbreak my phone just for that keyboard cursor feature 8+ years ago

 

Used to be a big jailbreak guy

 

It pained the shit out of me to do this but restoring my 15 Pro and setting up from scratch without a backup fixed my subpar battery life.

Setting up as new is the only way to go.

 

Idk if this has already been said cause I don’t read every single post, but the new layout for Apple TV is so much better. Especially on a bigger tv.
