Radio shows now available in the podcasts app! No more losing my place when closing the app or not getting through Mark’s show in one sitting.

 

Battery definitely seems a bit subpar on the 15 Pro vs the last few gen of iPhone.

 

Wife's phone was dead by 4PM yesterday after taking it off the charger at 9. I was like, how? Turned off AOD to see if that helps out today.

Edit: Just cleaned my MBA screen for the first time in... a bit, with a microfiber cloth and maybe the smudges hid it but now there's a good 3" scratch in the screen. Would AppleCare cover something like that for a replacement?

 

I did the exact same thing (had it in a stack) and was experiencing bad battery drain, never would have never guessed it was the widget. Thank you for this! I just removed it.

 

i've thought this too. coming from a 13 pro max with like 87% battery efficiency or whatever left i feel like this one dies a little quicker.

 

Also coming from 13 pro max and yeah my battery seems to die a little faster now. Is it because of the always on display?

 

i don't think so, i turned mine off immediately.

 

To add to this: I feel like the phone is going to slip out my hand all of the time, never can get a good grip

I thought I saw that Apple Music will now make a playlist out of your “loved” songs.

anyone know where that is or how to do that?

Second point worries me, as I'd hate every song I favourite to be added to my library. I have loads of songs in my "liked songs" on Spotify that I'd never want the associated album in my library. Ideally it'll be optional like the add songs to to library when adding to playlist" option.

I kind of want an iPhone 15 Pro and now I'm bummed that Apple screwed up the back glass replacement on my 12 Mini early this year and had to give me a new 12 Mini. I just can't justify the upgrade at all, and I've been trying!

Going from an SE2 to the 15 pro is nuts. Loving it so far.

 

Wife came home and claimed she has no idea how, but her screen is already cracked after a clear solid fall... thankfully I threw a Zagg Glass XTR3 protector on it only 3 days ago, but, wth...

 

I really like WatchOS 10’s look, but I also think it makes some things unnecessarily more difficult to navigate or view at a glance.

I really hate that tapping the temperature complication just takes me to a full screen page showing the current temperature, and then scrolling down only shows me information about current and future temperature forecasts. I have to tap the screen to go through pages, or touch the icon in the top right to find additional weather information. Very dumb change. At least let me set a default page no matter which weather complication I’m tapping.

 

If you have a Mac, you can create your own using Smart Playlists. Just create a new one and add Love is Loved as the Rule.

Agree, i used to swipe to change watch faces all the time and they took that away for seemingly no reason?

 

They added so many additional steps for things and it makes no sense. My main use cases for my watch are to track my workouts and listen to music and they're little things, but also unnecessary IMO, and I'm so annoyed that I have to confirm that I want to end a workout or tap on an album or playlist and then tap play for it to start.

 

Hold down on the face, and then you can swipe. I think they did it to prevent accidental input/swipes.
