I can't imagine it would be part of AppleOne, they're gonna be able to charge so darn much for the NFL ticket.

  3. yeah it'll probably be something like $400 or like 100 per month

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

But that's true for most national games. We get so accustomed to our local broadcasters that many perceive a bias against your team on a national level.

Would love to see Apple eat the cost of Sunday Ticket and offer it with a basic TV+ subscription. I know they probably won’t, but it would be an easy way to boost subscriptions and Apple has more money than god to do something like that.

Theres **no** shot theyre going to spend billions of dollars to acquire the NFL just to make it super affordable to their existing customer base. I know we want to hope but, its not going to happen. This is going to be a premium subscription.

Anyone have issues with yellow tint on their LCD display? Big bummer on my Tab S8.. Doesn't make much sense since Samsung displays are used by Apple. Think I heard they outsourced to TCL, which is crazy when they have such gorgeous AMOLEDS in their phones. Already tried exchanging it with no luck

Anyone had any bad experiences with Apple recommended repairs? 2015 MacBook Pro purchased new in early 2017, I’d say mostly light use since then. I haven’t noticed any major issues or declines, the battery maybe isn’t quite as good as brand new but it still holds a charge just fine, except the other day I started getting a battery notification saying Service Recommended. I brought it into an Apple Store and they said the battery is failing and needs to be replaced, and that’ll be $200. Oh and also they’re going to stop servicing this era of MBP on July 31 so I need to do this immediately.

I don’t really have any reason to doubt them but if this was a company with a worse reputation, I’d be extremely suspicious of this.

  12. Battery is $200 because it’s the entire top case and yeah all machines from 2015-2016 are turning vintage - apple classifies products vintage 5 years after the last time they were sold.

  13. So yeah it’s all legit what they are saying

This is why I'm such an advocate for right-to-repair. They made non-repair friendly designs for years, and now these devices are starting to age out. My husband has a 2015 MBP that he loves and does not want to replace at the moment. If the battery were bad, Apple should still let me get the battery replaced, period. Not my fault they designed it to where it's harder to do on older devices. It runs Monterey. This isn't a Macbook that can't run a modern OS.

Just looked up the same repair for my 2020 MBA, and it's a much simpler battery replacement process. I just feel if these companies aren't going to service older computers like this anymore, they should provide the parts/manuals for us to do it ourselves.

Side note: I have a similar gripe on the 2017 iPad Pro I just tried to get the battery replaced on. I used Coconut Battery, and it showed the battery health at 84% (give or take). I took it to Apple and they showed it at 90%. I can say after using it for 5 years straight, it does not have 90% of it's battery health remaining. Because of Apple's vintage policy, I have about one year before they refuse to repair the device any longer. I understand the reasoning for their policy, but if an iOS device can still support the newest version of iOS/iPadOS, they should still repair the device. This isn't an iPad 2 for crying out loud. This is an iPad that can still run the upcoming iPadOS 16. So dumb.

Apple (along with other corporations) deserve what's coming their way in regards to regulations on topics like this. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After waffling back and forth for 2 weeks I pulled the trigger and went and picked up a Studio Display. I know it has some aging tech but man is it beautiful. The screen is fantastic.

  24. I've had the Beats Fit Pro for about a week now and they're so much more comfortable to my ears than the AirPods Pro. I don't feel like I have to constantly push them back in while walking around.
