Yeah it’s bonkers that there’s companies who require people to use Chrome…. And then wonder why their machine is running like dogshit

 

We still have a few apps that only run on IE, so we have to run Microsoft Edge in compatibility mode

 

My work makes us use Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Explorer, all dependent on whichever software you're using so that's fun...especially since the average age is like 45 here

I might get a monitor for my macbook, are there any resolution issues to be aware of or is it generally just a plug-and-play situation?

 

Got a 13 Pro Max over the weekend and I think I might finally be ready to follow through on my whole “I’m not getting a new phone next year I love this one” schtick.

i will likely hang on to this phone for a few years. Its my favorite iphone ive had.

 

Wanted silver tbh but nobody had it within 250 miles so I settled for graphite. Wife got the blue one which I didn’t really love when they announced them but actually really like in person.

 

I will definitely trade in my 13 Pro Max for the 14 Pro Max in 7 months lmao

I will probably keep my 12 mini until the battery life really starts to suffer.

 

Same, except mine is already starting to suffer. Almost pulled the trigger on a 13 Mini, but figured I could probably just get the battery replaced for $100 instead.

 

I love just about everything in my 13 Pro Max and can't wait until they put slightly upgraded components into something with rounded edges again.

I’m still using an iPhone 11, so I’m very excited to upgrade to the 14 series later this year lol

 

I just don't see any appeal to a foldable phone.

 

For the exact same reason that flip phones were appealing years ago . More compact, easier to fit in small places

 

I’ll be interested in a foldable phone when they have one as thin folded as my iPhone is now. No desire for something in my pocket twice as thick as what I already have.

 

The render is kind of interesting, but the most appealing part to me was definitely the cameras almost being flush again.

 

Looking at my FB memories today... 4 years ago I got my HomePod. Still probably the least used Apple device I've used. I keep looking on the marketplace for a cheap second one to maybe use it as a stereo but otherwise it's just... sitting on my desk.

 

We use our mini all the time. It works so well in the kitchen where we spend a lot of time.

 

I would also take a phone the current size of my 12 mini that folds to half the size of that. I’m a big guy but anything bigger than this is uncomfortable. I would pay for flipping but only as an added convenience on what I already have.

 

anyone ever run into issues with voice mails not showing up? I generally only get a voice mail once every few weeks, if that, but I'll sometimes get a missed call and the it'll only be like a week later that the phone shows me I have a voice mail and there doesn't seem to be any way to refresh the voicemail list. Not sure if its the iphone's fault or ATTs. But has already caused a few minor problems and imagine at some point it'll cause a big one =/
