I got it from the online Apple Store, so I feel like it would take two weeks even if they just send a replacement. It would suck if after that it turns out it is the dongle or some shit Maybe I should call Apple and ask what they think?

 

Definitely call apple. Exchanges game 3-5 business days usually. You’re closer so for you it’s even faster.

 

I made the phone "forget" the adapter and so far it hasn't lost connection again I'll just see how it goes in the next week or so

 

I bought the apple wallet as a last minute impulse purchase before going on holiday yesterday.

So far, perfect for going on holiday. Only holds 3 cards. So have ID, Bank and Room key in it. Works a dream and not having to worry about carrying a wallet.

I’m just not sure how practical it is going to be as an everyday wallet.

I basically carry it as my main wallet with my debit card/license, and then leave my “old” wallet in the car for insurance cards/credit cards for big boi purchases (which never happens lol)

 

we talkin 'bout the magsafe wallet here? didn't know it was that popular, i have never seen a single one in the wild, though i have considered getting it myself.

I have one as well and I like it a lot. I don't carry cash often but I generally find there is enough room to carry a couple bills if needed. It is a tight fit though lol.

Edit: Sorry I lied, I have a different brand lol. But I believe the size is about the same.

I am on holiday in Spain and my iPhone is taking ageeees to charge. Yet, my partners XS is charging as normal. Can’t figure it out, I have even tried her cable/plug/same wall plug. It’s actual torture how slow its going.

Wonder if they will revamp apple care to have a tier that basically includes on demand access to repair parts. Would be a perk.

Yeah I mean i don't trust myself to make repairs, but I have plenty of friends who work on computers that i would gladly trust to do a good job if all i had to do is provide the tools and parts and it could potentially save me time and money.

One place I’m finding Spotify having an advantage over Apple Music is how it handles wifi speakers. When I was on Spotify I could play it over my echo dots and manage it all from the Spotify app without connecting via Bluetooth. I have not found the same capabilities on Apple Music and the Alexa media controller is weak.
