I wish you could customise your Apple One subscription. I would love to replace Apple Arcade with News+.

  7. I got my AirPods Max on Monday and they sound and feel fantastic. I was worried about the weight, but I hardly notice them.

Work gave me a 2020 iPad Air and Apple Pencil. Any recommended apps or shortcuts for these new shiny things?

I was getting a weird error so I had to go through the terminal to make it happen haha

Odd!!! Always scary having to goto terminal to do something as extreme as wiping a disc

Anyone got any wireless keyboard suggestions? I prefer, idk how to describe it, but I hate flat keyboards. I really like feeling the button push in haha

Still loving my space grey Apple Keyboard 2, and overall the build quality feels better than the keyboards actually on MacBooks at the moment (might just be me). If you like mechanical keyboards though, I hear Keychron are pretty great.

lol it's funny. I worked from home all of 2020 basically, but in this new job i've finally accepted I need to actually build out a work from home situation.

Man, really not vibing the change on how to select dates on iPhones now.

On a funny side note, my other half calls me an Apple fanboy (I play up to the character now). The tables have slightly turned...She has been waiting on new AirPods dropping since the turn of the year. She has even referencing Asian bloggers by name at this point. I did feel a bit bad when the current rumour of March is now Q3!

I too have a Keychron K2 at home. I have a K4 at work, and I have a K2 V2 arriving today. Seriously addicted to their keyboards. You won’t regret a Keychron purchase.

It’s nice seeing a company like theirs get more than a couple recommendations on here. :-)

slight tangent but I got a K1 for the office PC and it refused to connect via bluetooth and when it did, would need to be cabled back in to connect if it went to sleep. I don't know if thats a K1 problem or a PC problem

zero problems with my K2v2 on my home Mac

We're exclusively PC at work, and I just got my K4 in the past few weeks. No issues yet, but that's not to say there won't be any in the future. I recommend reaching out their support team and see what they have to say. There's also the "Keychron User Group" on Facebook with over 27K members. Someone there may be able to offer some insight and I know the company replies to posts there a lot. I recall having to update the firmware on my K2V1 at some point, but no issues since.

Keychron's seem to be the way to go for that, honestly. Maybe order a switch tester on Amazon to see what feel you like more, and order those switches on your board! Or even get the hot swappable version and swap out the switches with others if you don't like the ones you originally choose.

I'm starting to delve into the world of mechanical keyboards and actually have my first build on order at the moment! Probably can't answer a ton of questions but if you have any I will do my best!
