We have the OG and we love it. Such a good speaker.

 

I still need to figure out if I want a HomePod Mini. Might be great to have at my desk, especially in this WFH life.

I got the m1 mbp a couple weeks ago and it is really awesome. The battery life alone is out of this world tbh. It’s also great having a keyboard that works well

If y’all were to get an external monitor, what would you get / recommend?

 

My Mac mini shows up tomorrow. I don’t know if I have to sign for it, but I may not be home when it’s delivered. Thinking about leaving a note for the UPS person.

 

I’ve really appreciated having this one over the past year. It’s usb-c and charges, plus serves as my USB hub. I don’t do any gaming, so the 60hz isn’t a dealbreaker

well we are on the fourth beta and there are rumors of an event during the last week of March

So my mother-in-law, who is a part of our family share plan, recently subscribed to discovery+ through her Apple TV, so the monthly cost comes off of my card and she then Venmo’s the $6 or whatever. If I wanted to watch something on D+ I would still need her login credentials even though the subscription was purchased through my Apple ID, right?

 

nope, just go to your Apple TV+ app and get to watching.

Anyone else having problems with trying to download songs and it saying they are no longer available or no longer listed in Apple Music? Did they lose license rights to certain things?

 

ive definitely seen songs ive added to playlists lose their rights or whatever but they're greyed out so it's very obvious I can't even try to download it. The download button isn't even there on those tracks. you're seeing tracks that have the download button but aren't working? Only other thing I can think of is I have some Jimmy Eat World tracks that I added to my library, then synced with iTunes Match when I was on that, then that merged or whatever with Apple Music but now those tracks are unavailable. I think it has to do with when iTunes got rid of DRM stuff you bought from iTunes but then when Apple Music came into play, it's all DRM now and I think it DRM'd some of my own stuff. I pretend to think I know why these things happen but really, not so much. But those are the two examples I could think of that seem like what you're seeing.
