There isn't and it's one of the more infuriating limitations of Apple Music. You can sort them from iTunes on a Mac, I think, but there's no way to do it from iOS.

I think I’m pulling the trigger tonight and ordering a Mac Mini M1 16gb. I’m not concerned with storage since externals is where most work is going to be stored (plus their prices to upgrade the drive is ridiculous). Has anyone picked one up? I’m going to be running Logic Pro so I figured I’m safe.

Apple has confirmed the iMac Pro will be discontinued with no replacement.

I suspect the iMac refresh is going to happen very soon. I wouldn't be surprised if the new line up comes in a variety of colours as a bit of a callback to their 1998 iMac which will also feature the Pros space grey.

 

iMac Pro is a bizarre product - you can customize a regular iMac to be more powerful than the base iMac Pro for less, and Apple hasn’t updated the iMac Pro in 3.5 years

 

I’m looking into getting a new smart thermostat. I’ve had a Nest for years, but now I’m trying to find one that integrates better into the Apple/HomeKit environment. And it doesn’t seems like there are too many decent options out there. Interested in hearing any suggestions. Does anybody have any experience with the ecobee3 lite that Apple sells through the Apple Store?

 

The Ecobee is what I would be looking at if I was in the market right now.

Also, like, come on Nest, make it work with HomeKit.

 

I'm super curious what the M1 Desktop line will look like, especially if Apple starts selling an external monitor.

I have an iMac that's a few years old, and its a major bummer that this great monitor is forever linked to the quickly aging hardware. I'd much rather spend $1,500 on a monitor and $1,000 on a Mac Mini than spend $2,500 on another iMac that can't easily act as a dumb monitor.

 

So I’m probably going to be replacing my 2015 iMac with a M1 MacBook Pro or Air, with an external monitor setup for when I need a bigger workspace. I had a MBP in the past, but I’ve never used an Air before. I know the Air is cheaper and since I’m going the external monitor route I’d love to save some money, and the specs on both of them are similar enough, but does anyone feel like it’s too thin when using it as a laptop? Just curious. I wish I could test one out but I’m not setting foot in a store any time soon

 

Honestly at this point I'd wait for the new 14inch (or 16inch) Pro coming out in a few months time. The M1X/2 will be a huge upgrade if the rumours are to be true. The new Pro's are also expected to get an upgraded mini LED screen which will also be worth the wait.

 

Good to know, thanks. Just read up on the rumored re-designs and they look great. Hopefully they do add more ports, that was a concern of mine with the current iteration since I'd be going the external monitor route.
