Definitely just a mini.
Stole the digital clock idea for my new “daily” face. New year, wanted something new to shake it up. Been doing modular for so long.
Fantastical, Carrot, WaterMinder, MyNetDiary around the edges. Date, Activity, Shortcuts inside.
@Anthony Brooks @Jason Tate What face are you using as the basis here? I'd like to try it out myself.
Been using the GMT face for a couple of months now
so for uh, let's just call it tax reasons I got myself an iPhone 12 (after not liking the pro all that much), here's my review:
it looks and feels laughably cheap.
everything else. this phone absolutely rocks. I hope apple comes through with a bit nicer pro model next year but I think this will tide me over until then nicely.
what didnt you like about the pro? i may be in the market for a new iphone here soon, my 8 plus is starting to do funny stuff
Just the finish was too glossy on the sides and the edges hurt my hand. It’s mostly a me thing so if you like it no reason not to go for it. My hands are fucked from almost 2 decades of hard manual labor aka user interface design.
The regular 12 is a better deal tho.
yea, i'd def be leaning towards the regular 12 or mini. thanks!
The mini is the GOAT but see I’m 6’3” it’d look ridiculous LOL
My wife loves her mini
Same one I've been using for like 4 years. I'm a light user though – time, date, workouts, music, and checking notifications:
I love my Apple Watch but can't help but think I'm barely scratching the surface of what I can/should do. Anyone want to point me in the direction of any good articles/YouTube videos that I can look at to try and use more if it?
I present to you the glorious intersection of the politics and apple thread.
I have to say every day I like this iPhone 12 more and more.
I ordered a very tasteful dbrand matte black back skin so that I get the pro’esque look (wish they had graphite) and to make it a tad less slippery, but other than that I couldn’t be happier.
Are the MagSafe wallets still pretty bad about staying on? I’d like to get one but I remembered people saying they slid off easily.
I’ve had no issues with mine. Honestly that complaints that I saw about it seemed weird because of the way they put it in their pocket that caused it to slide off. I love mine other than having a hard time getting the cards out of it
My phone just connected to an ultra wide tower for the first time and holy shit lol.
I use Meridian. I love it.
Have any of you traded in an old Mac? How much trade in value do they carry? I don’t know why I never considered it would be similar to the phones
you could download a car with those speeds
Is there no way to disable the hearing safety thing where the phone automatically turns the volume down 50%? I get it with headphones but it’s connected to a BT speaker that’s not even going full blast.
I got $1000 towards a M1 Air for my base model 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro. Probably could have sold it for a bit more but didn't want to really deal with meeting up with random people right now. Super seamless process.
I’ve got a much older model than that, but that’s great. If trade in plus stimmy gets me a new comp for free or close to it I’m stoked
I got £260 for a MacBook Pro I spent probs £1300 on in 2015
