yeah - if you're going to buy the phone outright just buy the sim-free version

easiest way to get the phone without needing to know anything about your plan

 

maybe this is a stupid question or has already been covered but what’s the difference between buying full price from one of the carriers (through Apple Store) and saving the $30 as opposed to going SIM-free?

 

the only difference is saving $30 and probably needed to know your account details but if you know all your account info you're Gucci

 

12 Pro Max ah yeah. I’m not getting up at 5am though so will see what it’s like at 7:30

Getting a bit of FOMO about the max pre order but I’m typing this from my 12 Pro so I really can’t complain. This thing is a fucking dream coming from my 8.

 

It seems really good but I don’t really know much about cameras. Took some pictures earlier though and they look really great! Unsure when it was introduced but stuff like stage lighting and dark mode are super cool.

 

if you're ordering outright I strongly recommend using the Apple Store app and I'm strongly recommending putting your desired model(s) in your favorites.
