What's peoples thoughts on the new cinematic announcement videos over the usual stage event? Personally I've been really enjoying them and the detail/time they put into them is wild.

I'm stoked to see the Apple Silicon releases but I'll be waiting for the 16" version next year.

 

i've really enjoyed the last two apple events, the pre-recording style allows them to be a little more creative and animated in their approach/announcements, but i'd wager as soon as they can go back to having a live panel/event audience, they will.

 

Finally got my MagSafe charger, it’s so good but at the same time so frustrating that they didn’t think to make a version with a longer cable!!

 

I really want to get one for my 12 Pro but I'm a bit hesitant because of the cable length and also needing to get another power brick.

 

My 12 Pro just cleared Customs in China!!!

 

Are all of you ordering from Apple directly? Wonder if Best Buy or Verizon would be faster

 

i did. but im patient. i have had an Apple Card from Day 1 and its so much easier for me with the installments and cashback there.
I dont use my Debit card anymore. Just Apple Card with no interest if paid every month and cash back.

 

Just got my 12 Pro activated. Coming from an 8, this thing feels immaculate.

 

Any good cases y’all would recommend? I usually just go with an Otterbox Defender but I was thinking about switching it up in favor of something that is more slim maybe.

Edit: actually this Apple leather wallet with MagSafe looks pretty sweet

 

The “After School Radio Show” that Mark Hoppus hosts is great. Wish when you were playing back episodes, it acted more like a Podcast episode though, for times when you may not be listening all the way through at once.

 

I have that same thought every time I listen.

The wallet detaches really easily going in and out of pants pockets.

I’ve used an Otterbox Symmetry for the last few years and have no desire to use anything else. Slim enough for me, fits like a glove, great protection, and it looks pretty clean.

 

So I was able to swap my AirPod pros which I knew weren’t sounding right. There was a recall on some, and now my new pair works amazing. Easily the best headphones I’ve ever owned.

wondering if I should preorder the 12 pro max on Friday through apple, or if I wait closer to thanksgiving and try to get a new phone through target. they always run a promotion during Black Friday, basically get a new phone and they give you a 200-250 dollar gift card. but if quantities are limited I might just preorder this week.

 

im coming from an 8 and have/had my heart set on the mini, but the past couple days I’ve been thinking about the 12 pro camera. Any early impressions (including from anyone else able to compare 12 pro to 12 or 11)?

I traded in my iPhone X to AT&T today and was able to upgrade to the 12 Pro for $6/month. P happy

 

The 12 Pro is beautiful. Just got mine today and set it up. The feel is so much nicer than my XS Max.

Speaking of that...My XS Max has been erasing to trade in for like 3 hours now. A little piece of the status bar left. Any idea if thats a bad thing? Never had that problem.
