I will never use anything but the leather cases after someone in here, @Jason Tate or @cryates, I think, recommended them last year.

 

I'm pretty sure he and I hype them up every year lol. Outside of when I used the XR (and its clear case), I always go with the Saddle Brown leather case. It's what I'm using now on my Pro Max.

 

I have been rocking the clear case for the 11 pro max and i hate it, all it does is gather dust. Going to be switching back to the leather case probably next week once i get paid again.

 

I got the Saddle Brown leather case for my XS and I absolutely love how it's aged. Definitely the case I'll buy for my iPhones from now on.

 

i think im gonna go for the green leather to match the forest green phone color as best possible

 

I hate the color out of the box, but love it after like two weeks of aging.

 

My girlfriend bought me the case originally and was like "You're SURE this is the color you wanted?" and I almost wanted to exchange it. But I'm glad I stuck with it! It's not the best out of the box for sure haha

 

My first leather case finally fell apart after three years. Still looked good even all beat up. I'll never use another case for my phone.

 

This is what I did. I initially was going to go black but the green looks so good.

 

i had the saddle brown on my old X for 2 years and i had it with me in the apple store and it was insane to compare my case to a brand new one, i couldnt believe it was that light of a brown when i bought it and put it on haha, its so faded and worn from a distance it almost looks black now lol

absolutely worth the price point though

 

Still rocking my 2011 13" MacBook Pro. I consider upgrading every year but never do haha.

 

That’s what I want to do but at the moment the black is $10 cheaper than the green on Amazon so I’m tempted just to go with black again.

 

My 2015 15” pro still runs like new, can’t imagine upgrading anytime soon

 

My saddle brown on my 11 max pro looked almost black after like 3 weeks. I’m not dirty animal I swear. But my oily skin combined with letting a five year old use it at restaurants all the time really aged it quickly.

 

Here to second the leather cases! I’ll never go back to the rubber and plastic ones after having this one!

 

Digging these new airpod pros. They actually stay in my head after a long run and headbang test unlike the first version that fell out immediately. The only thing I really miss from my Jaybirds are the touch volume control from the buds and sound setting in the app. Its going to be weird to get used to not having those. Other than that the features on the pros are absolutely amazing.

 

Brydge has a new iPad Pro keyboard with a trackpad and it's impressive

This makes me so happy. I got my wife to swap with me (she had space grey, I had silver in the same config), so I’ll be pre-ordering on Tuesday. I’ve been low-key wanting the Space Grey version for a long time anyways.

 

What would folks think the best iPhone to get these days?

Thinking of upgrading my 6S Plus and not sure if the 11 Pro is worth it other than the camera.

 

The battery is the best part of the 11 Pro.

 

11 Pro is great but I also think that the 11 is super good for basically everyone. Best thing would probably be to find a store and see if the display matters to you much. That's the difference that I cared about the most.

 

Depends on your needs. Honestly though, if you’re coming from a 6S then you’ll find the regular 11 to be a massive upgrade itself. It’ll have better battery life than the 11 Pro (but not the 11 Pro Max), and the telephoto lens probably won’t be a big miss if you’ve went this long without it.

I've had my 11 Pro Max since Black Friday and I gotta say, I'm not that impressed with Face ID. Half the time I have to enter my passcode because Face ID doesn't recognize me.

Maybe there's something I'm missing or I need to go through the set up again?

 

When I made the move to a 7 I went with the 7+ because I wanted the better camera and battery life. So glad I made that move. 2 plus years with that phone and I can go a whole work day on the battery with scrolling on Twitter all day in bad cell reception area
