Yeah, Sonos for sure. Talk about a streamlined ecosystem, Sonos is amazing.

I picked up my 11 pro. Sprint gave me glass screen protector and then a liquid glass protector for the back glass, idk if I'm going to use either. Any opinions on them?

  3. When I got my phone, sprint put on the liquid glass screen protector on the front and back of my iPhone XS and it’s been fine. Not too sure how much it actually does but it doesn’t make my phones screen look any different so I’m fine with it.

I use an OtterBox Amplify edge to edge tempered glass screen protector paired with an OtterBox Symmetry case, and I absolutely love it. Can’t even really tell the screen protector is on the phone if it’s installed correctly, and I like the peace of mind knowing that I don’t have to baby my phone at all.

That being said, if it isn’t an edge to edge protector, I would probably pass on it. They’re quite noticeable, which some may not mind but I personally don’t care for, and dust and debris tends to collect around the edges pretty easily.

Are there still known concerns/issues with Catalina, or have they been mostly resolved (as far as we know)? I've still held off on upgrading myself, but mostly due to laziness because even the minor updates take forever on my 2014 MacBook pro

What sort of configuration? I'm basically set on a 2TB hard drive, but I'm trying to decide if I want to spring for the better processor and/or more RAM. Basically every configuration is better than my current setup, so it's just a matter of how much I want to future proof (and maximize the investment).

I haven’t encountered any Catalina problems *yet*, but that’s just using web browsing/email/MS office/Apple Music

  14. Very stable on Catalina. Running it on a 2012 MBPr. Runs FCP x, Adobe CC suite, and logic without issue.

Incredible. Going from a 7 year old base model Air to this is impressive.

Still on the lookout for a case though, any recommendations?

the AirPods Pro are my first noise cancelling headphones/earpods I’ve owned and I’m asking myself why I let myself go 29 years on this planet without them.

Anyone ever buy a relatively new (but used) iPad and get the notification you can’t listen to your iTunes-associated songs for 90 days? What kind of bullshit is this?

  19. Not sure if this is the right forum for this post, but I absolutely love The Outer Worlds too! That game is incredible I beat it way too fast.

but since I’m here, is Apple TV worth it just to play Apple Arcade?

my office has its own reward system that can let you claim stuff, and i think i have enough for either an airpod or apple tv.

i already have a sony headphones so im not too sure what i’d need the airpod for

I don't know what Apple Arcade is, so I can't help you there, but I like my Apple TV a lot. It's smooth and reliable, although it annoys me that the home button doesn't always take you to the home screen anymore and kind of toggles between it and the Apple TV+ landing screen.

If you end up deciding the Apple TV isn't worth it to you, the airpods could still be good to have as a backup. Bluetooth headphone batteries lose their charge quickly over time due to their low capacity, so if your Sony ones slowly get worse or vice versa, you might like having them on the side.

  24. I’ll Stan for the Apple TV for it’s incredible Plex app alone. (The Apple TV is the only way I watch anything anymore. It’s all we have hooked up beside the Switch, and we don’t have cable.)
