    my nearest Apple Store is 20 minutes from me by public transport and I am TERRIFIED I will lose my self-control and buy these today.

    Had a problem with this myself. On my 2nd pair I became vigilante with weekly cleanings. Aside from all the ANC improvements, this is my most anticipated "feature" from the new AirPods.

    Picking mine up tonight, re-gifting my series 2's to my younger brother for Christmas.

    Removing one AirPod not only pauses the music, but kicks in transparency on the other AirPod. Fucking genius.

    I could reproduce this. this is the behavior when you're listening to an album in "search" vs in your library.

    I already find the force sensor more accurate than the double taps. The audible click you get is a nice touch as well. The double-tap gesture was always 50/50 for me on whether or not it would actually work.

    Yes, and it would hurt even more here having actual tips deep in your ear canal, so good call by Apple. And the added benefit is more commands with this sensor. I still want a volume control feature on the AirPod itself in the future somehow.

    The soft alert tone you get with "Announce Messages with Siri" is very pleasant.

    I'm probably just gonna grab a pair of 2nd gen regular AirPods soon... mine are starting to have shorter battery life and diminishing sound (not complaining since I've had them for close to 2 years now and use them constantly) but it's not worth it for me personally to splurge on the Pro. Jealous of you guys who are getting them though.
