Just sold my 2nd gen so I can get these

 

so the dream of the 16" macbook pro this year is dead huh

 

13.2 is available now.

 

I wonder how easy the AirPods will be to get in stores on 10/30. I'm out of town 10/31-11/3, so I wouldn't want them delivering to my home on 10/31 and sitting around.

 

Id like to see how these fit. My Airpods fit so great that i feel the new design with the tips may not feel as good to me as the original ones do.

Also not fully upgrading until the colors are available.

 

Interesting new force sensor thingy instead of "tapping." Really curious how that works in practice.

 

Why do people think they'd release different colors? I really don't think they will, the white is such an iconic branding thing for them.

 

Welp looks like there’s another apple product I’m saving for haha these AirPods Pro look fantastic.

 

AirPods are immediately an identifiable product because they're white. And insanely popular despite the fact they are only sold in white. No need for Apple to stray from that public product placement.

That said, I'd take a black pair.

 

Welp just sold my original airpods to my brother for cheap and bought these. It says they'll get delivered to me on Thursday so we'll see.

 

Oh, yeah, if they were sold in black, I'd buy that version immediately.

 

Do we know if the noise cancellation is adjustable like how the Bose or Microsoft does it, or are they always going?

I currently have the Bose over the ear, and the fact that I can turn off noise cancellation is really great, but I don’t like carrying around such giant headphones

 

wishful thinking. the white attracts so much dust. And with the different color phones the last few years getting even more color doesn't seem too far out of reach.

Also trying to self justify waiting since my pair are flawless with a lot of use.

 

Haha, totally makes sense. I'd love a nice midnight blue.

 

There's a "transparency mode" to turn it off and let sound in from the outside. I think we'll have to wait for reviews/get them to see how everything works in practice.

 

Truth is that there have been rumors of Black or others colors for Airpods since forever and it has never materialized.

 

Same. Something darker. I have a beard that pretty much hides the pods if you look at me straight ahead, so the colors would make it less noticeable. At least in my head.

 

At least the stems seem much shorter.

 

Idk how there’s a market for used AirPods lol that’s v gross to me, I don’t trust the ears of others I guess

 

People buy used cars after someone farted in those seats for years. A little earwax seems harmless by comparison.

 

There's a lot of other things that could have happened in those cars that you should be worried about before farts in the seats

 

For my own sake I choose not to think about that. Farts is as far as I want to go.

 

My current car was bought new so I don't have to think about that haha

 

Also I already feel like a weirdo using my AirPods talking to people because sometimes I only wear one and people think I’m probably an asshole or talking to myself lol
