Haven’t downloaded it yet but man I hate this. For a company that shines in minimalism it sure feels like the music app in iOS needs a lot more tapping these days too. Don’t get why we need more taps to get to lyrics (and 2 additional taps to get to the whole song instead of the obnoxiously huge live lyrics) and the song queue now.

 

Lyrics are one tap? I’m confused.

 

Compared to just being able to scroll up/down before. Not a big difference in the grand scheme of things but feels significant and unnecessary lol

and god damn that song is good

 

My Macstories newsletter membership just paid for itself today by bringing the Doppler app for importing music to iOS devices to my attention. Still a ways off the ‘download and import straight from Safari to iCloud’ utopia, but this is a nice stopgap solution for those times I’m travelling without a MacBook (which is 99% of the time now)

 

Wife finally came home from the hospital today after 21 days between 3 hospitals... took her about 2 hours to realize I upgraded to a 27" iMac from the 21.5" lol

Man is this thing awesome. Night mode is legit.

I’m honestly more bummed that they don’t come in colors and have silicone tips

 

They have flexible, interchangeable tips. Are they not silicone?

 

Literally couldn't order those fast enough when I saw ANC

 

Need to test these out before I buy. Problem I had with the air pods have been them falling out my ears very easily. Plus never found them comfortable

 

I know they will sell at that price point, and I'm fully aware of the insane engineering that goes into them, but it's still weird to me that you can get a whole iPad for like 80 dollars more.

 

I only recently bought the 2nd generation ones.. might pass them onto my wife and pick these up. Noise Cancelling was the one thing I missed going from my Beats X to AirPods.

 

I think they are silicone. I just love the fit I have now for my AirPods and hope they don’t change. And just because I feel like silicone will make them grosser from ear juices lol

 

I'm not that surprised about no color options. Seeing someone with those bright white headphones just screams Apple.

My AirPod battery is just about dead. What great timing.

 

I'm not sure if I'm going to love or hate having the tips and them fitting into my ear like that (I've always opted for more the current airpods style as opposed to interchangeable tips,) but I'm picking these up at some point.
