Seems like a normal design for a redesign. Rubberized tips like that typically give better sound isolation.

 

This is a good sign that they will be better in a noisy cleanroom. I can't hear shit on my current ones when I'm in there without cranking the volume to unreasonable levels.

 

One would think we would see these soon, maybe the October event, if they are already baked in the software to some capacity.

 

I really really hope these are coming with the October event, but look what happened with all the Tag/Tile references in iOS 13 and it didn’t end up coming out with the new phones. My fingers are crossed for this month, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if they show up after the new year.

i just read about this and now i'm in the same boat. i'll probably just buy some nfc tags from amazon and THEN figure out what to do with it

 

I bought a couple and have been using them for little things so far. I have one for when I sit down at the computer to work and one that logs water that's all so far.

 

i have a X (company phone) that i just found out doesn’t support NFC and now i just impulse bought an 11 Red that i’ll pick up later

my wife bought an 11 Pro last week and just told her there’s nothing that’s really incentivizing me to upgrade immediately loool

at least i have my own phone now

 

I didn’t like it much at first, but I have kept it on. It’s growing on me. I do like being able to see the time without a full wrist move.

 

They've released ios 13.2 beta with the new Deep Fusion mode.

I have the SE now and it’s been my favorite iPhone. The size is perfect. Was hoping the 2 would be just as small, if not similar in size.

 

Yeah I would love a fullscreen iPhone 5 form factor. I might wait to see what this is actually like before upgrading.

 

Isn't the iPhone 8 the same size as the iPhone X? I thought the point of the SE was the smaller size.

 

I was under that impression too. If it's not going to be comparable in size to the current SE, then I'm not interested.

People don't get that if you make a smaller phone with the same design and components of an iPhone 11, that means a smaller battery and nonstop complaints about poor battery life.

As for why they couldn't make it smaller when going with an iPhone 8 design though.. idk.

 

I've been having an Apple Music issue since downloading iOS 13 where "Downloads" doesn't refresh to show any new recent downloads on the main view since I made the update to iOS 13 a couple weeks ago ... anyone else have this issue? Thanks!
