Ok, here are some of the known bugs from iOS 13 Safari so far here on this website. Since iOS 13.1 comes out tomorrow, I am going to wait until that release to see if these get fixed or I need to do some additional work to fix things on my end:

• Double-tap to go to the bottom of the page is broken. (I think this is fixed in 13.1.)
• If you quote a long post you are now scrolled to the bottom of the posting box. (If you just start typing however, you will be moved to the bottom.)
• When highlighting a sentence in a post, the quote/reply pop-up options do not work correctly.

I'll give everything a look tomorrow to see how things look with 13.1. I am assuming I'm going to need to do some work on the second one, since the text area no longer seems to auto expand as more text is added. But, we'll see.

If anyone sees any other issues with iOS 13, please let me know.

 

you need to triple tap. same with reply and likes (so, 2 taps there instead of 1)

not sure why it needs one more tap but it's been this way since the very first beta.

 

just tested my girlfriend's iPhone 8 on the recent 13.1 beta and it's back to double tap there, so that's good news I guess! :)

 

Told myself I was going to hold off till November when my iPhone X was paid off, but I couldn’t wait. Local Apple Stores have plenty in stock, and when I logged in to check the loan on my current phone, I only had one payment left (thought it was two). Paid it off and purchased the Pro Max. Wasn’t impressed with midnight green in person so I went with space grey as usual.

Battery life is phenomenal. Camera is awesome. No regrets with this phone. I love it.

 

I’m loving this all day battery life I only charged my phone to and from work and have been on it a lot tonight and I’m still sitting over 40%

 

when using the Share button from Safari, is there a way to filter out contacts from popping up? I talked to my boss on Messages recently and I don’t want to accidentally send him stuff I’m supposed to send my wife lol

 

I ended up picking up an iPhone 11 Pro and Apple Watch Series 5 yesterday, coming from the 8 Plus and Series 1 respectively.

I now feel like I live in the future, and I absolutely love the wide-angle camera and the night mode for photography. Great stuff. Bring on 13.1 today (and hopefully tvOS too, so that I can play Apple Arcade games on my TV.)

 

I wish I could drag the "favorites" on the health app home screen so I could put the ones I want to see most often at the top.

 

13.1 is out.

Anyone else having with the music app since the update? Sometimes it'll just randomly stop playing music for no reason. Just started happening to me. When I look at the display, it'll show a track from a few plays ago and not the one I was on before it stopped.

 

13.1 is probably what they wanted to release last week but just wasn’t ready in time

 

Digging the Automation part of Shortcuts. I've always wanted Do Not Disturb to really be "do not disturb until I leave this location" and now I can have it automatically do that, so that's nice. Not sure what else I'll set up next.

my wife is starting to get annoyed at how much time im wasting with shortcuts but she doesnt realize im thinking about the future so i can be lazy forever

 

I have a shortcut on my home screen of a picture of Hannah, and when I tap it it opens up a menu for find my friends, texting, calling, or sending her my ETA ... once I showed her that she understood the app more.

 

Wait, what, how do I do this?

 

Then hit the ... at the top and tap "Save to Homescreen" and then pick an image.

(It also works well from the Today Widget.)

 

Oh man, I need to play around with this.

 

im planning to do one that sends her a good morning message (hopefully automation can pull that off), because she ALWAYS wakes up earlier than me. i’ll vary it enough so it doesn’t get old fast. maybe something like send “petname + phrase” as a base and make it more sophisticated from there.

i feel so evil but it’s just so much power

 

also that shortcut idea is brilliant. i’m def stealing that. (actually doing it right now)

 

My phone is still updating to 13.1. Spinning wheel for 20 minutes so far.

I wasn’t the biggest fan at first but Apple Arcade is pretty cool - for $5 there is something for any type of gamer

 

love love love Sayonara Wild Hearts. played it on my iPad with a PS4 controller. the Arcade developers lineup is pretty impressive too

feel like this will be competing with switch.
