I’m not a fan of losing 3D Touch for selecting long blocks of text though. :(

 

I miss it when moving the cursor around in text to fix a mistake.

You can use it on the space bar now for that.

 

I thought so, but it kept doing swipe typing. Will have to play around with it to get used to it.

 

I believe you can also just tap on the cursor itself and move it anywhere you want.

I didn’t realize Skate City was made by the developer that make the Alto’s Adventure/Odyessy games, it’s so good.

I don’t think I like the Apple Music update much.

Why is it still so unnecessarily hard to see track lengths?!

Toggling Shuffle is now two clicks deep. This is annoying because I always have to press it again when I plug in to my car.

Also album titles are gone from now playing?!? Do the people who design this stuff actually use it?

 

Apple Music in dark mode is a thing of beauty. I also really like the new email set up.

I have a question on Apple Music. So it pretty much erased everything I had saved in Apple Music except purchases that I made like 12 years ago. But anything that I saved to my library from the service itself is gone. Is there a way to get that back or do I really have to go through and find all the albums and songs and re add them?

 

Is your iCloud Music Library setting on

 

Whoah I just realized you can rewind/fast forward by tapping a lyric

 

Let me check. Should it be on or off? I never add any of my own music, usually just search for a song or artist then add to library from streaming

It’s happened to me before when I changed my iTunes region and that was a quick fix. The only thing is that you have to download all of the songs from iCloud again

 

My mom needs a new phone. She doesn't use it for much but it shouldn't be a piece of shit in two years. Which is the cheapest iPhone that will be supported for a few more years? The XR? One of the 8s? I tried checking the website but I have lost the overview.

 

I just messed with a Pro model to see what the matte finish was like and holy cow is it slippery. I feel confident that I would drop it multiple times.

 

Decided to go with the saddle brown leather Apple case. Previously had it on the 7 and that thing was damn near black by the end of the run. Let’s see how this goes how that I don’t wear raw denim anymore
