I think the font rendering is better than High-Sierra, but it's still got some weird issues.

 

Seriously. Her words this morning were, “Those drop tests are full of absolute shit.”

She never curses. This had me rolling.

So $30 bucks at the Apple Store isn’t the end of the world.

 

Her phone won’t backup to the cloud at all.

And her “System” storage is massive. Mine is a few gigs, hers is over 20. On a 64GB phone, that’s rough.

The issue is that she hasn’t connected her phone to a computer in like 4 years. Haha.

We don’t have a home computer. Well, actually we do now, but it’s a straight up beater.

 

i plugged my phone into my macbook last weekend for the first time i think since getting the phone last winter....i wanted to update my hard backup, but it felt so weird connecting to a computer again

Nice to see that's in the webkit core rather than an addon for Safari itself. Hopefully, it gets somehow integrated into Chrome on Windows 10 too.

 

I'm taking a look at Zapier to see if they have a quick way of making this happen

 

Speaking of smashed screens, I highly recommend the Peel tempered glass screen protector for the X models. Normally I wouldn’t bother with a screen protector but got one because my X was scratching really badly, ended up dropping my phone from high onto a concrete floor and smashing the Peel screen protector to pieces, heart in mouth as I peel it off only to find not even a scratch on the actual phone screen itself. Very impressive.

 

I still find it extremely strange that Apple is launching a new phone tomorrow with no cases available for it.

 

Yep. Hannah bought a third party one. She wanted a leather Apple case. They lost money by not having one.

If you want a case you want it day one.

 

Definitely. It just sucks for case buyers cause I just don’t want any other case but the Apple ones. It would have been cool to see more fun cases like the 5C had but

 

unless they are surprise releasing tomorrow haha

 

She got the Incase rose gold one.

 

Wonder if there will be any cases available in store today. Still nothing online.. some are speculating they will show up after the event next week when they bring the site down for a refresh.
