I think I’ve posted this before, but my dog now associates me opening the AirPods case with going for a walk. Most times that is exactly why I am grabbing them but feel bad when it is just to clean and she starts a “WOOOO IM GOING FOR A WALK!!!!!!” circle pit in the living room.

Only bummer so far about my AirPods is the case scratching like it’s 2005 again with my iPod classic

Caved in and bought a 42mm cell S3 watch... $100 the refurb section. Should be here tomorrow.

Yeah they need to find a way to design the next model so that the case stays a little cleaner and particularly so the AirPods themselves don’t get all clogged.

Keeping the actual headphones clean is easy for me. But carrying the case in a pants pocket or a separate bag, getting some of that dust build up out of some of the crevices has been more difficult for me, personally.

Have used Q-Tips as well. But mine smells like shit - really waxy / sweaty ears here :speakno:

Didn't think 4mm would be that big of a difference but wow does the 42mm watch feel/look much larger than my wife's 38mm... really digging this so far.

Next Show - Foals April 22nd

Snagged a 4K Apple TV this weekend and I'm absolutely loving it. It's a HUGE upgrade from the V2 I have been using for years.

  12. I have a 3rd gen in the bedroom and a 4th gen in the living room. I keep wanting to justify upgrading the 3rd gen so badly because the UX is so much better but I notice the remote app on my phone is always disconnected from my 4th gen. 3rd gen is always rock solid and available. But when airplay 2 comes out it’ll probably be the tipping point for me unless the 3rd gen is supported.

Still can’t get over the battery life on the 10.5 inch iPad Pro. Used it every day for almost a month now and I think I’ve charged it make 3-4 times.

Anyone with a HomePod, have you used it outside and is the sound still amazing with no/minimal walls to bounce sound off of?

Messages in iCloud is FINALLY available with the iOS 11.4 update today. Didn’t finish uploading for me after more than 2 hours though lol, had the feeling it may have been stuck. I had to leave for work so will try again when I get home.

In fairness I do keep all my messages and have for a few years lol, it estimated the messages plus attachments would take 12.5 GB of iCloud space.

I'll be with you the whole way.

Would you go touring the world with your gf with a 2 year-old iPhone 7 (starting April 2019)?
Should I have my battery changed or something, based on your experience?
Would you recommend any case which is soft, thin (like Peel's), but really protecting?
    Thank youuuu my lords

Plus, should I go for Airpods of Bose's Bluetooth headphones?

Would definitely recommend getting a portable charger... Anker makes really good portable ones.

Not sure which model you're talking about when you say "Bose's Bluetooth headphones". I have a pair of airpods that I love and are great for walking around and being on the go. That being said, I also have a pair of Bose noise cancelling over ear headphones that I love and are amazing to have if you're going to be on a lot of noisy trains/airplanes.

I love my AirPods for going on walks, doing house chores, and working out. I don’t regret the purchase one bit

my favorite thing about them is the ease of use (how seamless the transition from phone to macbook to appletv can be when deciding what sound you want in your pods at the time). Battery life is a huge plus. I use them ALL the time, and I think in the year or so that I have had them i've only had to fully charge the carrying case 4-5 times. I also find the sound fantastic, I was not expecting the sound quality that comes with them.

Being able to sync them to AppleTV as mentioned prior is a huge plus as well, because if I want to watch TV in the bedroom while the fiance is asleep, I don't have to leave the room or watch with the volume on 2.

    Just all around great product.
