Girlfriend got the X after she was having this "no service" issue with her 7. Still gonna send that in to get fixed, but she didn't want to wait for the repair since she planned on grabbing the X soon anyway. Super excited for her. This phone is so slick.

Mine have had this happen as well recently. They also need to be forced into the Case to be recognized recently. Apple Store hard reset my case and it happened again this AM. Going back to get them replaced this Sunday. They noticed that it wasnt acting right but wanted me to retry before replacing.

  5. usually these programs last for about 2-3 years after the date you purchased the machine so I wouldn't rush out to get it replaced unless the battery is doing poorly. Get the most you can out of it and then get it replaced when it actually needs it. Otherwise it's like buying new tires for a car that doesn't need new tires.

  6. Okay, cool. Thank's for the help! I'll definitely wait then since everything seems fine and dandy.

yeah I read up in a few forums/apple support boards that others have experienced this too, and it usually it due to temporary signal interference, which makes sense.

It was funny to see the guy at Apple try to tell me just a restart would work. For 4 months i had zero issues. then when i noticed that the Pods weren't being read when placed into the case, i knew it was something technical. I would have to forget the device and reinstall a couple of times to get it to work. Still love these regardless and hope the new replacement i get will stop the issues.

Bottom. Tried the others and it was way too wacky.

  12. I’ve tried the sides and got used to each after a while. But bottom just feels more natural. I also don’t really like hiding the dock much.

I have it at the bottom but don't hide it even thought I don't use it that much.

    I honestly don't know why I don't hide it

I thought the iPhone X was so fucking dumb when it came out. Then we got a deal to switch to Sprint and get bogo X’s on our family plan.

I love this phone SO. FUCKING. MUCH.

For the dock I alternate between left and bottom - mostly bottom. Though left feels pretty natural from my Linux days.

Any HomePod owners noticing that voice recognition has kind of sucked lately, especially when playing music? Used to be I could practically mutter Hey Siri from across the room during a song (75-80% volume) and she'd hear perfectly fine, now I practically have to scream right next to the HomePod to get any response.

Wonder if they tweaked it because it was so sensitive it was getting false readings and interrupting songs.

do you know if there is a way to browse twitter on my phone while playing music from it? it is so bothersome to me that every time i open the twitter app, the music cuts off to play whatever videos are in the twitter feed.

  24. Can you disable autoplay videos in the Twitter app?
