Thanks for the suggestions. Restarting Safari made the FB embeds work on my iPad at least - not sure why I hadn’t tried that before. I had to whitelist Instagram but that doesn’t bother me as much since most of my Instagram interaction is in the app anyway.

 

Debating if I want the Silver or Space Gray iPad...
Finally switched from a white phone this year with my X, might be time to do that with the iPad as well.
I'm so excited to use this with the Pencil.

WHY are there neve any interesting color cases for the iPad Pro 12”

 

Thinking about upgrading to a 4K and a 4th gen Apple TVs. Right now, I'm running a 2nd gen on a 720p TV and Chromecast on a 4K TV.

Went to go play around with them last night and holy hell, it's like a completely different machine.

The one thing that bums me out about the 4K is it doesn't support 4K playback from YouTube - pretty lame. I'll be using it primarily for Plex, Netflix, and Fibe (my cable provider). Just looking for more reasons to justify the upgrade.

 

4K YouTube playback is an easy software upgrade though, no?

 

Toyota is finally putting Apple CarPlay in it's vehicles, starting with the 2019 Avalon and today announced the new Corolla hatchback and Rav4. Really like the new Rav4 design and the lack of CarPlay was holding me back with going with Toyota over Honda (new Insight or Accord) so this'll be fun to test drive and figure out my next car, as my current cube is 8 years old w/ 115K on it.

 

Was trying to hold out for a car with CarPlay and I’m excited to see Toyota and Mazda finally jumping on board. The new Corolla looks awesome, but I’m probably just gonna buy a 2014 Mazda3.

Also, Best Buy has a flash sale going on right now with 2017 MacBook Airs for $700 and an available $50 student discount.

 

That hatchback looks like it will be really fun to drive. I love how they're including apple carplay but no android auto lol. It's about time they hopped on board.

 

Yeah I can't wait to have a car with Carplay, hoping to get an Outback next year. Anybody use Spotify with Carplay? How well does it work?

 

Is subaru currently a carplay provider? I am going to be getting a crosstrek this fall and would love that.

CarPlay is standard on the new Crosstrek.

 

Still waiting on an update from Mazda about Carplay. I NEED it!!!

 

They said 2018 Mazda6s will get an update and new 2019 Mazda6s will have it, but no mention of anything else outside of that – even on the new CX-3 which was announced yesterday.

From reading the detailed notes of fixes, doesn't seem like they've addressed the iMessage bug. How the hell is that not fixed yet?

 

Finally! I downloaded the update immediately just for that bug fix.

 

I was saying it doesn't seem like it it's fixed in this update. Unless it's just not listed in the release notes.

 

Oh dang, I should have read better, now I got excited for nothing haha. I haven't seen anything yet, fingers crossed.
