any X users noticed the glitchy screen when unlocking the phone via face ID? hoping that gets resolved soon in an update.

 

Bought mine a few weeks ago and I love it. The sound is just so clean and crisp, I swear there's been a couple albums I've listened to 100 times before and on the homepod I picked up a few things I'd never really noticed before.

The only thing that has happened to me a few times is I'll accidentally hit the wake button twice, activating Apple Pay. Then immediately put it to sleep again. It will leave a big rectangle on the screen until I activate and then deactivate the Apple Pay menu again.

What's happening to you?

 

The only glitchy thing for me is using Face ID to open the phone while Apple Maps directions are going.

 

upgraded the usb hub in my focus so I could use carplay and holy hell it's 100x better than the trash sync3 system that ford uses.

 

I can't wait until I get a new car mostly for that reason. Sync is sooooooooo bad

 

last month the GPS stopped working and the interface had been incredibly slow. popped in a new usb port and carplay automatically started and i haven't had any problems since. do you have sync3 in your car or an older version?

 

I think it's the first one lol I have a 2012 Fusion but I know plenty of people that have newer cars with it and it's still terrible. I just want to plug in my phone and have music come on I don't want to wait 20 years for it to be done initializing

 

Lately it feels like the iMessage bug where messages that were sent after messages I sent but appear earlier than mine has gotten way worse. Super annoying.

 

Yep, happens in nearly every conversation for me now.

 

I'm on Sync 2 and I loathe it. I like that I can invoke Siri but all I use the touch screen for is to turn on my seat heaters. I do everything else on my phone. I wish Apple would implement a CarPlay mode into iOS. Have it function the same as it does now with "Do not disturb while driving" except, you know, functional and practical.

 

Wait how do i do this. I have a Focus and have the same complaint

 

I'm so happy this bug only happened to me like once because it seems like it's hit everyone really bad at some point

Then in your center console, use a flathead screw driver to pop out the USB hub. Unplug the three connectors, connect your new hub and that’s it. Make sure your sync is on at least version 2.2 or 2.3 I believe

I dunno if this is a MacOS beta thing or what but all of a sudden the other day, iTunes (Apple Music) started playing a bunch of other songs from what I assume was my library after an album finished - kinda like Rdio used to do back in the day when it would allow you the option to continue playing similar music at the end of an album. Anyway, I didn't think much of it today but I was poking around looking to see some new suggestions and saw this in my "heavy rotation" and "recently played" sections. How would I have EVER found this on my own? I don't see it in the radio section, it's not in my sidebar or playlists. Weird. Been playing it for a while and trying to fine tune it. Not a bad feature but I had no idea it existed.

 

Anyone get their iPhone 6 battery replaced? Is it as good as new? My current battery doesn't last an hour with basic use. Have a replacement appointment this weekend.

 

I was just FaceTiming my brother today and he is having the exact same issue with his iPhone 6 Plus. He got his battery replaced less than 2 months ago.

 

Doing my mom’s tomorrow. Will report back!

It just doesn’t last much longer than it did before he replaced it. I think he’s going back to the Apple store to have it replaced again so it may have just been one bad replacement. I’d say it’s definitely still worth it for you to replace yours cause I’m pretty sure even his replacement battery lasts longer than an hour

 

Is iTunes Match a necessity for making iCloud music library work properly? I put some music not in Apple Music into my library and when i try adding it to iCloud music library for my phone the songs just show up greyed our on my phone!
