fucking @Chris Yates told me to do a settings reset too and it didn't fix it smh yates

Paired my AirPods with my Apple TV today. I wasn’t sure if it was possible. This is gonna come in handy when I’m doing stuff around the house

Same. I was thinking about it the other day then did a YouTube search today. It’s really simple

Settings > Remotes and Devices > Bluetooth

I had some issues intially. Closed out the YouTube app and disconnected from my AirPods. Tried again and everything worked perfectly

 

How long has Apple Music automatically added a new album to your library when you add it before it's released? I added the new Alex Lahey album a few days ago because I wanted the singles, and when I opened Apple Music today the whole album was there! I know it wasn't always like this so I'm happy they added it at some point!

 

Pretty sure the feature has supposedly been there since Apple Music launched, but it has never actually worked for me so I stopped trying. I'll have to give it a shot again with next week's releases.

 

I love that album.

 

i always add, i think you have to like, close itunes for it to add? i know it's definitely not 100% automatic

I dunno if this fits in here since it's not technically an apple product, but my Beats X's are doing this thing where they will charge but won't turn on, and I had just been using them the night prior. I've tried all the recommended methods I've seen online to no avail. curious if anyone here has them and has had a similar situation

 

Is anybody having issues with their GPS not following them in Maps or Google Maps? My GPS just won't recognize where I am. Sometimes it will just stay in one spot or just half ass follow where I am but will take a while to update it.
It didn't work on 11.0.1 and now on 11.0.2. I've tried everything I can think of besides a full wipe of the phone with a clean OS install but I haven't had the time to do that yet.

 

I've had problems with that. I was always losing the signal when actively using the GPS. I did a clean install of iOS and now it seems to be gone, but I haven't used the GPS enough to be sure.

 

Yeah I think I'm going to take the time and do that tomorrow. Hoping it's not a hardware issue because it's seeming less likely that I'll be able to get the X at launch.

 

Considering the AirPods. Are they worth it?

Do they fit well? The normal wired headphones from apple tend to fall out of my ears fairly easily.

 

Worth trying. I have no issues and a lot of the reason the old ones fell out for me was the wire. The lack of a cord changed the game in that regard for my ears.

 

Did anyone get the new Apple TV? I want to since I just got a new tv but not sure if it's worth the upgrade from the last version they released or not. Also, I'm assuming the Netflix app on it outputs the HDR videos, assuming you have that plan right?

 

Hello All, I'm planning on buying the iPhone X on 10-27. I'm trying to debate buying it directly from Apple or though my carrier (AT&T). Does anyone have any great/bad stories around this? Leaning towards my carrier and just getting Apple Care & not the carrier third party insurance.

I have it. To be honest, I can’t really say it’s worth the immediate upgrade. Also, Netflix does HDR but that is almost completely limited to their original content.

 

Considering buying airpods for the sole purpose of being able to wear them underneath my beats headphones. Reasoning being, I use my current earbuds to play music through while my beats I can hear my electric set through. Kind of a weird/amateur set up, but it works really well for practicing covers and if I had the airpods they'll never shift in my ears from the wire being pushed on.
