My 6S definitely feels worse since iOS 11.

 

The betas were horrible until the later versions on my 6 and then towards the end it was pretty good. Then the public version came out and it was awful again. 11.1 was released the other day though and it’s pretty good now.

 

My battery life on the 7 was terrrrrrrible for the first few days of iOS 11, but things seems to have gone back to normal. Gonna chalk it up to indexing with the new file system.

Good, I am planning to get the 64 Gb version if I end up getting an X.

 

Weird that so many of your are having iOS 11 issues on your 6s, mine is working better than ever!

 

The X should be the first product launch release that I will be working. Very excited about it. I've never even gone to Apple as a customer during the first day release of a product.

 

I thought about the 64GB actually, since I mostly stream my music nowadays. I don't even have any of my AM songs downloaded right now because the download process is beyond annoying.

 

Yeah I barely have any music downloaded to my phone and since I use iCloud Photo Library, my photos and videos don't take much space on my phone. I have a 16 Gb 6S and get the storage full notification from time to time, but I just delete unused apps. 64 Gb will be enough for me.

 

my battery life is fine but i still have that bug where the music widget stops working, alarms don't go off, and now when that happens phone calls don't even have sound

 

Not to mention the $149(US) price difference between the two storage sizes.

 

Which means 210 CAD more for me.

Did anyone get the 8/8+ in silver? Curious if the back is actually white like it looks in photos or if it’s actually silver.

 

I have the silver and it looks like the white from the 4s it’s slick

 

The 8 is the first iPhone since the 4s since I thought the silver/white is the best option. It looks so nice.

 

I'm definitely going with the white/silver iPhone X then.

 

I want to stop by an Apple Store soon to compare the Silver and Space Gray iPhone 8s before deciding on my iPhone X color. I'm currently leaning toward Space Gray, though.

A while back I had posted about my poor audio quality with the AirPods. 50% was virtually inaudible, constantly living in the 90% range for everything.

Finally got fed up with them and brought them into Apple. They swapped them out with a new pair like it was nothing. Got home and 50% volume was louder than my old max, so now I’m wondering if these were defective from the start or if they gradually went downhill. Maybe they were even affected by the iOS update. Idk.

 

new update seems to have fixed my sound issues (for now) at least

 

So, the wife and I went to the Apple Store last week to fix her 8 and her Series 0 Watch, but they had to send in the Watch and ship us a replacement.

She got two replacement Watches without straps.
