have they really not released black magic keyboards for the new iPad airs? LOL

 

I just checked cause I didn't realize that before. Wow. They really did take away the black option for the new M3 keyboard. That's super lame. I prefer black for everything possible, especially keyboards. Looks like you can still purchase M2 keyboard in black that will fit the M3 models, but you'll lose the function keys. I'll never understand some of the decisions this company makes. *sigh*

 

There's a "new" white keyboard for the Air, the white/black one is for the Pro.

I'm dealing with our Apple Business rep and they're uncertain if the M2 Keyboards will work with the M3 airs. I can't see why they wouldn't

 

Software reasons only, typical Apple.

 

I was excited about the new Magic Keyboard until I saw what it lacks, what it's made out of, and that it only comes in white.

We're back to peak cost savings Apple.

 

I just checked again, and the M2 keyboard is listed being compatible with several models, including the M3 Air. Dimensions on the M3 model are the same as the M2 (11" and 13"), so you should be good.

I have an iphone 13 pro but verizon offered me a pretty good trade in for it. Is it worth upgrading to the 16 pro? Any major differences that make it worth the leap? Or think I should just hold off til the 17?

Yeah, i'd hold off too. We're already six months into the 16 series, and the biggest sell for those was Apple Intelligence, which hasn't exactly "taken off". Some of the rumored improvements for the 17 Pro include a 24MP selfie cam (up from 12MP they've had for years), 12GB RAM (currently 8GB on the 16 Pro), and possibly the introduction of Apple's in-house Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip. If the C1 modem in the 16E is any indication, we'd see big battery life improvements with them switching to their own chip.

In hindsight, i wish i would've held onto my 15 Pro Max and waited for the 17's to upgrade. Going from a 13 Pro to 16 Pro would benefit you, but if you can wait, i would.

It looks blue in certain lights but yeah it’s the same blue as what the iPad Air has had over the past few years

For me, apple intelligence has been such a dissapointment. It feels like a gimmicky implementation of it, not what i would expect from Apple.

 

Also, why does it not let me turn it off in settings for Messages? I don't want suggestions. Ever. For messages. I turned it off and still get them.
