With Apple Music Replay, subscribers will get a playlist of their top songs from 2019, plus playlists for every year you’ve subscribed to Apple Music, retroactively. These can be added to your Apple Music Library, so you can stream them at any time, even when offline. Like any playlist, your Apple Music Replay can also be shared with others, allowing you to compare top songs with friends, for example, or post to social media.

Here’s mine for 2019. Looks about right.

Glad to see Apple getting on the train this year. Was a little jealous of the Spotify users who got a nice recap last year.

EDIT - whoa. really great to see they did this for previous years. awesome.

Yeah, it's cool that they finally did this! Had a good time yesterday going through my 2015-2018 playlists, was a nice nostalgia trip.

How do you see the playlists from previous years?

You have to scroll down to the bottom and find them, they are sort of hidden there (or at least they were for me)

Where do you find this? It says it’s in the app but I can’t seem to locate it?

I think it is still a little finnicky because it's in the beta phase.

Do we need to go to the website to update this each time and view other years or can this be viewed directly in the music app?

From the website on my phone I was able to log in and add the years as playlists

Had to use a random app to do this last year. Glad Apple is doing things like this.

Ok, I will explain how to get the playlists:
    1. Login using replay.music.apple.com
    2. At the top you will see the playlist for 2019
    3. Scroll ALL the way down past the songs, past the bands and past the albums.
    4. At the very bottom will be 2015-2018 playlists
    5. Add them as you like
    6. They should show up in your library

Thanks. It says it updates each week. Does that mean we would manually need to do it each week by going to the website and refreshing the list or would the playlist update in Apple Music automatically? I imagine since we have to add it to our library manually that we would have to go to the website each time

I think as long as you add the playlist it should update based upon what you listen to. We will have to see what happens next week.

This is great. Looks like my AOTY right now is still Bad Suns - Mystic Truth bc the entire album is included in my playlist haha.

close second/third are the new albums from Bad Religion and Blink-182.

Same here, I listened to No One Else by From Indian Lakes so much it became my #1 most played in the top 25 playlist but it's not #1 for the 2019 replay.

I still have last.fm on my computer and phone. Has been keeping track of all my plays for like 10 years. It's really cool.
No matter what music app you use.
