That’s awesome. I wish I was anywhere near organized enough for something like that to work for me. Just had my leather strap delivered. I am a big fan.
rustic brown? how does the leather feel? my current brown leather band never broke in right and has felt uncomfortable, been looking at options, i like your photo
I hadn't even thought of using Apple Intelligence in shortcuts. I'd tried to use shortcuts to have ChatGPT generate alt text for an image with no luck, but using Apple's cloud model I got it fixed in minutes.
Here's what I have. Somebody who's more familiar with shortcuts might have a better understanding of how to get the image directly from the share sheet instead of having the popup with the photo gallery. edit: works without the secondary popup on my iphone, but not on mac.
Silver 42mm Watch10. And yeah, I was worried about that but it matches extremely well. The buckle maybe feels a little cheap to the touch, but for $32, I can’t imagine doing much better. Comfortable enough so far, and it looks great. I also bought a kit to add Apple Watch connectors to standard watch straps. I’m pretty excited by that prospect.
I'm still tinkering with the prompt to get it more descriptive, but agreed this is much better than going through ChatGPT
Apple’s biggest achievement this phone season is the Techwoven case. It’s so dang nice. I’ll probably own every color available at some point (except for Sienna b/c yuck). I have a purple delivering tomorrow and already have the black one.
As someone who's always struggled to get a good fit with the AirPods Pro, even with 3rd party foam tips, the AirPods Pro 3 are a revelation.
Agreed! I always had to use foam tips and was still adjusting them every 5-10 minutes. With the new ones I keep reaching up to adjust them and they're still in position. I'll have to break that habit.
A few days into using these AirPods Pro 3 and damn. It's still crazy how good they are. The noise cancellation is night and day vs my 1st get AirPods Pro. Wild.
Also finding the 17 Pro much more of an upgrade on the 16 Pro than I expected, it feels a lot snappier on iOS 26, the camera is amazing and the battery and heat improvements are noticeable. Liking the look and feel of iOS26 a lot now, too. Apple cooked this year.
After trying for an early store pickup on Sunday and checking the Apple Store app constantly for days, I finally scored the orange Pro Max today. Unfortunately, I had such a busy and laborious workday that I was too tired to set it up tonight. It's also a 700GB transfer I didn't want to attempt lol. I'll be trying the Thunderbolt cable method this year, as last year's transfer took 6.5 hours over Wi-Fi. Grateful I didn't have to wait till early-mid October for the phone. :)
Anyone know of a surefire way to reduce the size of your photo library on a Mac? This is with iCloud Photo Library on, I'm eating up over 300 GB. Everything I've read is to either move it to the trash and let it re-download or you have to go through your videos as those aren't downscaled so they're stored at full size.
I have a similar request but for messages. I know I should turn on the setting to delete old messages after a while but the digital hoarder in me finds that really tough. My messages app takes up 135+ GBs.
Was able to hold a 17 Pro today at work and I really don't like it. I'm still rocking a 12 Pro and I'm thinking about trying to find somewhere that has a 16 Pro still. Thoughts?
Waht do you not like about it? Fundamentally it's the same as an iPhone 16 Pro, only with upgraded battery, camera, etc. If the aesthetics aren't your thing, then I understand that, but also neglible if you use a case.
