The air is ridiculously thin

 

So is general consensus to not update my Mac right now?

 

I may or may not be trying both the Pro and Air to see which one I roll with. My heart said Air, my head said Pro… so screw it I’ll try both and return whichever I don’t keep.

Got my watches! I think I’ll probably keep the 42mm and return the 46mm.

Turns out US Mobile can’t support 5G watches yet, which is a massive disappointment because data is free for non-5G models and data is one of the main reasons I wanted a watch.

I also don’t see my AirPlay devices from the music app. Hopefully I can figure that one out.

Edit: okay good, USM responded on Reddit and said 5G support should happen very soon

 

My Pro Max is set to be delivered tonight right when I get home. Only annoyance at the moment is my job hasn't cleared use of IOS 26 yet and probably won't until later next week. So, I'll be carrying two phones around for a week for on-call jobs.

 

Definitely noticing a better sound stage with AirPods Pro 3. The ANC is almost too good, I can’t hear a train I’m on at all. Granted I already thought the 2’s were great for my needs.

Upgrading to the 16 Pro was almost very smooth until I realised theft protection was on an to turn it off, I had to wait an hour upstairs in the Apple Store. Queue was then huge after, so what would have been a 20 minute job took 3 hours. My own fault but I had no idea that was even a thing! Very happy with the Silver Pro and Green TechWoven. Slate Grey Watch is waiting at home too.

 

I really dig it. My wife has the 16 pro max and is upgrading because she works in marketing. Planning on scooping her phone. If I was going for a new phone I’d for sure go Orange. Forever in the alliance baby. Adidas did a collab way back white and orange long sleeve and the back said “rogue squadron” in simple black text where a jersey hit would be. It ruled.

 

Holding the Air for the first time gave me that holy shit feeling

 

Man, Apple Watch is pretty cool so far. Love that the calculator has a tip option. Going to spend way too much time today customizing faces.

 

Torn between the orange and silver.

 

Went with the blue Pro Max this year, paired with blue TechWoven and wallet. Phone should be here later today. Fiance went with silver and was bummed about the lack of a fourth choice this year (she's coming from a 14 Pro Max in purple.)

Planning to upgrade my Ultra 1 to a 3 here in the next month or so, once I figure out where I'm going for cell service (leaving Verizon after 17 years.)

 

I still feel that way every time I pickup the iPad Pro without the Magic Keyboard attached. I’m going to go to an Apple Store to check out the air.

 

orange definitely looks better in person (as I expected) but what I usually tell people is that Apple always kills it with their colors and sometimes the hardest part of any purchase is choosing the color haha

 

Went with silver bc it’ll get to me quicker and works better with the case I like.

 

It’s so weird to use this phone because it feels like a piece of paper that looks like an iPhone. It’s breaking my brain.

Also I’m setting up the Pro now and it feels like a brick. Not in a bad way, just like a “this thing feels indestructible” way.

 

Very impressed with techwoven so far. So glad to no longer have to deal with pulling a silicone case out my jeans pocket, inevitably turning the pocket inside out

 

There's no better reminder that I have way too many subscriptions than having to sign back into everything once the phone transfer is finished.

Went with the 17 pro in orange and really love it. My only gripe is that I always go with a clear magsafe case and this one has a big white panel on the back of it. Trying to decide if I just go case-less this time around.

 

First day with my Apple Watch and I think I really love it. I’m really glad I decided to order the 42mm a few days after ordering the 46mm because I wouldn’t have wanted anything larger (not that the screen size wouldn’t have been welcome; it’d just look goofy on me). The natural titanium also looks very nice. Cool device! Now I’m just feeling a little impatient for US Mobile to get 5G support, which should happen in the next month.

big fan of how this 17 pro feels in the hand; I like this a lot. Excited to activate/transfer and get it set up.

Was a tad worried the 42 watch would feel big, but it doesn't feels basically identical. Also a big fan of the natural titanium.

I’m trying to make use of the camera control button so I made this change to my Home Screen to make me use it more haha
