Sports app finally getting widgets when it should have had them in the first place.

I hope they continue to add more sports to the app like golf. Would love to ditch some other sports/scores apps and shift more to apple sports.

I do really enjoy this when I’m in the gym but otherwise not sure how much I care for it

I've tried to find anyone mentioning this outside of the usual suspects and can't.

  6. How would they know it's happening? The developers are the ones that would know, your apps just won't update.

So it's a server side issue? Or is it a client side issue?

They would know if they go to check for updates in the Mac App Store if the latter.

  8. They would not.

Thanks for clarifying. My next question is whether this is new or not because this could seem like something that's been occuring for some time.

Only updated my iPad day one, but got the RC over the weekend to get a feel. I'm LOVING the new iPadOS minus the readability and Liquid Glass aesthetic. The new multitasking/windowing system is great. I'm assuming it's going to be a couple years for Apple to tweak this design language into something better. May go ahead and do my TV's, watch, and phone. macOS won't be updated till next spring/summer.

It wasn't really until iOS 9 when the iOS 7 flat redesign really felt finished.

I never really dove into widgets and customizations before - what are some I should check out?

Anyone else having issue me with calls. That’s me and a mate now having people say our phones intermittently cutting out.

I'm becoming increasingly annoyed with the number of apps which haven't updated to at least XCode 26.

I’m thinking of getting a maxed out older version of an iPhone. I don’t need the newest thing for my phone, but I’d like better battery life and a better camera. Does anyone have recs? I am not up to date on phones the way I am with iPads and MacBooks.

Fucking Microsoft not using standard UI libraries.

Finally got iOS 26 for iPad. I was not offended by stage manager, but this rules. Psyched to make some custom screens and get everything setup the way I want it to be. Looking crisp and clean on the monitor.

Upgrading to the 17 Pro so I can give my mum my old phone, the more I see of it the more I really hate the design choices this year. It's a good thing the new tech woven case looks promising because my phone will be living in that.

  23. TechWoven case came tonight. First impression is super solid. I like how this feels in hand. Looks good too. Think I’m gonna like this.

I’m just surprised they didn’t completely drop the “woven” and lose any association with the disaster of FineWoven… which I actually didn’t mind as much had it not been so pricey.

After 12 or so hours of IOS 26 this operating system is unreal. Would suffice as a laptop replacement for like 95% of people. I was happy with where it was at, but this is completely nuts. iPad Stans rejoice lol.
