it was 2014/2015 but at at&t we sold the ones by bodyguardz mostly. by the time I left they started making it easier but yeah i'd always tell the customer that i'm doing this as a favor and i'm not giving them another one if it's messed up lol.
Reading that there's a new build number for beta testers but I'm not seeing it myself. Edit: There we go, finally got it to show up.
Same. His is the only one I'll give my time to read. I learn more about the OS's from the initial preview videos than I do from review vids, so I prefer reading reviews on OS's.
Spotlight is a huge improvement in macOS 26, now it's largely functional. Otherwise I just don't get much out of the new things. Don't disagree on the Liquid Glass UI being a bit meh on a Mac.
Went ahead and pulled the trigger on Air Pod Pro's 3. I have a pair of first gen's that have been solid and haven't given me any reason to really need to upgrade. Then all the reviews I've seen of them hit the web and one day later I found myself buying them. Hoping they are as good as advertised and that the step up in performance from gen 1 to gen 3 is as good as they are saying.
Oh man I forgot that I absolutely hate what they did to the music app with 26. I still just do NOT like Liquid Glass either or the search bar on the bottom of everything now. Ugh
That and the recents tab in Files are two of the big ones for me. I need Marvis to release its iOS 26 update soon because the search bar being at the top drives me crazy now that I’ve seen the light, ha.
Is there some kind of gesture or something to access the tab switcher in iOS26 Safari? The old button has been replaced by a … menu and the old “swipe between tabs” gesture seems to have been removed. It’s driving me crazy edit: never mind it still works, but for some reason it’s less consistent than before (sometimes triggering the app switcher)
I haven't been able to test much, but I'm so excited for the new windowing system in iPadOS 26. Got an iPad Air and magic keyboard a few weeks ago to finally have a personal non work device for some writing and such. All of this seems sweeeeeet. Liquid glass--still figuring out how I feel about it!
Anyone in the music hobby/profession (DJ/recording/etc...) has to wait up to several months to update macOS due to how long hardware/software companies take to make compatible updates. The DJ app I use took two months to get updated to Sequoia, but other VST's/plugins weren't updated till this past May for it. I got impatient and updated around February/March without issue, but may hold off longer this year. Seems the general consensus is Tahoe is not ready for prime time. This also makes buying a newer Mac a tricky situation, because you end up on a newer OS with no downgrade option, and you just have to wait for everything to get updated. EDIT: Here's a guide that's created annually for macOS, and is continuously updated until the next OS is released. It's really handy for those that work with audio/visual tools on their Macs. I feel like the song transitioning works in some instances, but I can see myself not using it after a while lol
oh so that's what i was hearing tonight lol. had one instance really jump out and i just assumed shuffle on one band randomly paired two songs from the same album and that follow each other haha
After looking at way too many photos and watching way too many videos, I ordered the 42mm S11 and will be returning the 46mm (too late to cancel, apparently). The idea of a larger screen is nice, but I’m thin, with a wrist size is 6.5”, and I think a bulkier watch would look silly and drive me crazy. I was also tempted to switch to slate, but stuck with natural. Decisions are hard.
