I'm in the same boat as Jason with my 14 Pro. Almost paid off. But, I've been feeling a little itch to get the newest one. I mean my cameras are great, but I'd like better. 3 years newer is a good bit better! My original battery is at 86%. I'll be waiting until Verizon has a solid trade-in deal. Almost couldn't care less what the phone looks like physically or color wise. Its a phone. I do like that the design this year is a bit different than it has been for 5 years. Wife pays the phone bill so It's not coming out of my pocket if I upgrade lol. (yikes)
I’m really curious to get my hands on an Air to see how it feels, it looks pretty awesome from the videos I’ve seen. I’d like to upgrade but I think it’s just going to be too big though I am optimistic. I’m probably gonna have to hold out for the foldable next year/whenever that happens and I’ll get a new battery in the meantime time since my life is at 73%. Might be time to upgrade my AirPods though.
Series 11 Space Grey w/ Sage Grey Link Band and AirPods Pro 3 ordered. Going to go with the Silver 17 Pro on Friday. Don’t think I’ve had the Silver one since my 4-6S run.
I love my silver 16 Pro but man, that's something about that giant chunk of white on the 17 Pro which doesn't work for me. Would have rather had it be gray to blend in like the Blue.
Yeah the white is a bit glaring, I’m either hoping I get used to it very quickly or it’s getting slapped in a case. the blue is similar to the titanium 15 Pro I had and I noticed scratches on that so badly and the orange is just horrific to my eyes.
I had the blue Pro at one point, too, and yeah, I agree with the dings. My silver 16 Pro is holding up well without a case, some little knicks and dings but nothing like on the blue 15 Pro.
AirPods Pro 3 Do Not Include a Charging Cable in the Box I get why and I have so manhy cables already but c'mon, Apple.
i've got more knicks and scratches on this 16 pro than i've had on any other phone i think idk what my issue is
I went with this case with the open cutout. They offer a precise cut too, which I'd imagine would be most ideal if the case color clashes with the phone color. Since I got the orange case with orange phone, I left my cutout open. Paragon - iPhone 17 Pro Max (Precise)
Yeah, I hear that. I've been using them since the 15 Pro Max, and have had a decent experience with them. This company uses better magnets IMO too. They messed up on my 16 Pro Max order, and sent the wrong style and they let me keep it and sent another. The cases hold up so well, I just give them away when I sell the phone. Looking at order prices sucks though: $34 -> $51 -> $60, but I did switch from Synthesis to Paragon style. Synthesis would've been $55 this year.
Might be doin that too. Like see what the cost is and not worry about “day one!” and being up at 5am.
This ATT trade-in seems too good to be true. I've been trying to read some reddit threads to make sense of it but probably should just suck it up and call support to figure out everything I qualify for.
AT&Ts are pretty good. My wife has the 15 from 2 years ago and with whatever promo was running when she traded in her 12 Pro we’re paying like $2 a month for her phone
Verizon has really good trade in deals, too. They gave me $800 for my 3 year old Pixel phone and those things have like zero resale value lol
Yeah I'm seeing ATT is offering $1,100 for the pro. I feel like there's some catch there that I'm not seeing. Aside from the usual re-up with the company and it gives you the money via bill credits.
Yeah the “catch” is that it’s in bill credits. And I don’t know about this year but the last 2 times I did it it seems like they want to lock you in for at least 3 years
Thats it. Its peanut buttered over the 3 years. Which is fine. Can make your payment for the new phone practically nothing. But if you want to get a new phone before the 3 years is up you loose the remaining credit. From my understanding. (credibility: my wife works at a corp Verizon store)
