Yeah, I wasn’t expecting black to be the only one that really appealed to me (of the silicone loops). I ended up ordering the green grey but I’ll be ordering a more attractive non-silicone strap eventually anyway because I’ll want something less sporty as an option.

 

If it wasn't so heavy I'd wear the link bracelet every day. Just can't stand it when sleeping so if I'm already having to switch at night, I lose interest.

I have whatever green was released last September and a maroon which I like along with a couple of the sport loops (although I just lost one of those in the wash).

I don't particularly care for the milanese, either. It can scratch your watch if you're not careful and the last thing I need to do is be careful when taking my watch on and off.

I’ve had my 16PM since launch and my battery health is at 95%. I don’t understand the people on the internet who claim they’re still at 100% or 99% lol

Mine is only six months old or so which is why. But I've also been good about reducing the battery charge limit based upon the recommendations of the device (literally the first time I've ever seen it do this for me)

 

It's just the roll of the dice with a battery. Sometimes there are minor defects which cause problems like that.

Baffling that the camera lenses still stick out of the new camera bump... The main benefit of having that horizontal camera bump on other phones like the Pixel is that it prevents your phone from rocking back and forth when laying flat on a table

And the Pixel bump is thinner than the 16 Pro’s bump so why not just own it and have it be flush? It’s a baffling design choice.

They should have just called this Ultra.



Because that's really what it is. It's the Apple Watch Ultra design in a phone.

 

The orange feels fresh and exciting but it’s not a color I’d want, and the rest of the colors are boring. I just roll my eyes at reading the website say another shade of silver/white/gray is “breathtaking.” As a sucker for color marketing, it’s all the more validation to stay with my purple 14 pro, especially given the current state of the world affairs. All my stuff works, so I’m not upgrading for upgrading’s sake.

 

Also I’m selling my Apple Watch series 10 jet black if anyone is interested (it’s essentially the same watch as the 11 but for cheaper!)

The more I see the new Pro, the more I find it quite ugly.

I do think I'm gonna end up with the Pro - might just get silver and put a case over it
