Yeah.. I'm just making an ass out of myself apparently. I can understand waking up to pre-order an iPhone (Though are they still pulling the artificial scarcity thing by the 7th gen?)

 

it's still kinda whack. they aren't gonna sell out so why the excitement?

Not sure if it's been mentioned (it probably has though) but I'm beyond excited to be able to delete stock apps in IOS 10. That's huge. That's my favorite thing now.

Also, buying a gun is not exciting.

 

Artificial? They are mass producing more of a computing device than anyone has in history ... I don't think supply constraints are artificial at all. And I bet the iPhone 7 ship dates slip within 12 hours of launch.

The more I read about the AirPods the more I am excited to try them out for daily walks and being around the house and pretending I'm talking to Scarlet Johansen.

 

Yeah, that's why I figured I'd chime in about something I know for once. Granted, it was a little plinking gun and not something ridiculous, but still

Anyway, anyone on the upgrade program? Looks interesting since it includes AppleCare.

 

I was starting to gain interest in the AirPods until I saw that they have 5 hour battery life.

 

Does Apple Music still update at 11?

 

15 minute quick charge gives them another 3 hours, up to 24 hours in one case charge.

That's pretty good for something that can fit in your pocket. But, I work from home, and charge things at night, so I am pretty sure 5 hours is totally in my wheel house for usage each day.

 

I've decided to pick up a Series 1 watch this fall. I only ever run on the boardwalk and waterproofing doesn't matter to me, so I don't think the Series 2 would be worth the extra cash for me, personally.

 

That's true. I still may end up buying some.

Everyone at work has been making fun of them since the announcement yesterday. I kind of want to show up wearing them for that reason, haha.

 

I've also been reading from many people that say the series 1 is very water resistant. Just not like "go swimming with it" (even though Craig Hockenberry apparently does, daily).

 

Did Apple Music just get rid of Top Albums on artist pages on iOS 10?? Incredibly dumb if so.

 

Yeah, I don't know how ridiculous I will feel/look in them. Haha, that I am totally worried about. I would like a more "plug" look. And in black. But, I dunno, they're not that bad. I've worn worse in public.

 

Bathe/shower multiple times a day, and swam on occasion with my Apple Watch Sport since day 1 and I haven't had a problem. The speaker on it is a little scratchy, but the speaker has always been awful and I've never used it.
