M3 tonight, looking forward to seeing what the performance upgrades will be.

And hoping for a new display.

 

I'm wondering if they will do another sketch in this one like the mother nature from September but halloween themed. I also think this could be a great opportunity to release their holiday ad in conjuction with the new products being released.

Apple seriously just said the 24" 4.5K retina screen is the perfect upgrade... from the 27" 5K retina screen. Okay.

Apple Discontinues 13-Inch MacBook Pro With Touch Bar

 

With the space black MacBook Pro, I was putting money on that M3 Pro 27" iMac also in space black. Honestly the iMac used to be such a pro device but it feels more of an entry level product now.

 

iMacs are really best for schools

 

Which I suppose is what the original iMac was anyway.

What is a travesty though, is that fact all the Mac accessories are still lightening and not USB C. WTF Apple.

 

That's more what the eMac was for, wasn't it? We used those in our photoshop class and that was enough enough power for it (when they just came out, of course).

 

Recently got a M1 Pro for what I think was a great deal (space black is making me jealous), but tbh I miss the Touch Bar. I’d developed a good muscle memory with it, it made choosing locations for screen shots (which I do all the time) a breeze, and it worked as flawlessly as any touch capacitive surface ever has, even after 7 years on a laptop that was otherwise just starting to show its age.

 

put in the order for the base M3 14" with my company. Absolute dream computer.

 

Maybe the craziest part of last night's event is that it was shot entirely on the new iPhone. Fucking crazy to see how far the technology has come over the years.

 

Decided to give finewoven a try

 

My finewoven is starting to wear but looks nowhere as cool as the old leather cases

Also, I still hate how the case feels

 

I’m amazed I’m still using mine, a bit of a combination of ‘it’s fine’ vs I can’t find anything that’s much of an improvement. It’s wearing quite well, but starting to look more like a suede finish over time.
