I would have saved so much money the last year and a half if I knew those existed. My AUX port is inside the center console at a weird angle and I've had to replace like 4 cords from the ends shorting out. Plus it's hard to get my fat hand inside it to actually plug it in sometimes.

 

Hahaha, I know the feeling. When I bought my car in 2006 I put in the iPod addition thingy. So there's a useless 30 port connector and cable in my glove compartment that can't do anything anymore. Won't even work with a 30 point to lightning adapter. It's completely a worthless cord.

 

Oof, haha. Mine is a 2013 so you'd think they would have had time to perfect the placement of it...on the other hand, it's a Volkswagen, so I guess I should be glad it's not like under the seat or some weird shit.

 

I blame the German manufacturing of our cars!

The more I think about it, the more Black sounds like a better choice over Jet Black. I never use a case, so the Jet Black would definitely scratch. From videos and pictures I am seeing, the Jet Black looks cheaper--like the iPhone 5c.

 

So ready to give them like $800 on Friday for the phone & watch.

So what's the argument to get series 2?

Brighter screen + gps should mean worse battery life. What's the sell if you don't care about Gps but want battery / worry bout that. Are any of the sensors better?

Not sure how I feel about that. Wish it was more compelling. Thinner. Better sensors. Faster. But the upgrades dual core in the series 1 seems like the best deal. Save money grab a fancy band.

 

Would have been nice to have wireless charging rather than wireless headphones. But you can't have that if you have a metal body.

 

Also just walked outside for a walk and the earphones got ripped out of my head on he door knob. It's god saying I want airpods in October.

Until wireless charging is actually wireless, like I can just stand in my house and it charges my phone. I find it pointless.

 

I've had a wireless charging dock from Google a couple of years back, but yea you have to plug in the charger itself, which is stationary, then place your phone on it. The only thing you're NOT doing is putting the cable into the port on your phone.

 

GPS is the big thing. If you won't use it, stick with s1. Unless you're a swimmer.

I think so too. Save a hundred bucks to blow in October on some AirPods.

I waited an entire year wanting a watch after hearing you and Thomas talk about them. Ended up getting a better processor and saving money, I am ok with that.

 

yeah definitely - I love my stainless steel Watch and I'll probably wait till Series 3 to get a new one. Even though I'd like that Nike+ one just for running

Don't have an Apple Watch yet because I've have been waiting on this moment as well. I like the idea of GPS on the watch so that I can run without my phone in my pocket or holding it(which isn't enjoyable) and still track all the data. When I run though I run on a small track not like through the mountains or something crazy. Even if I went on a crazy mountain run, I would want my phone for emergencies so no need for GPS on the watch. I've got more debating to do.
