With every iPhone I get a $6 no name glass screen protector and a $25 Amazon red leather case and i look good, feel good for 1-3 years. Will continue to do this forever. I do wish the purple phone was more visible but the grippy leather is the best phone handling experience imo.

Got it replaced, thank you Apple Care. Restoring now. I’ve dropped every phone at one point or another and never shattered anything. This was in a case. Fell off my knee while sitting on the couch. Landed on its back. And fuuuuuuckkked.

I really wasn’t planning on getting a new phone soon but, bro, 12 mini batteries are not travel-all-day proof and I’m constantly on the metro from 7 am - 5:30 pm.

Having to decide between a gold or purple 14 Pro.

 

Has anyone seen any announced deals for the AirPod Pros for this weekend? Best Buy already has them marked down to $200

 

kinda think apple sales are universally close in price at most retails, im seeing the second gen AirPods pros for 200 on targets website, or first gen for 160.

 

I’ve never really considered AirPods bc I like my over ears but I’m feeling spendy. The features are cool but how do they actually sound? Comparable to mid-tier over-ears? Better?

also might take the plunge for a magic keyboard. Or a 14” MBP. And everything else in the store.

 

im currently wearing my AirPods pros gen 2 rn with noise cancellation and if someone wanted to kill me I wouldn't hear them approach me so pretty good sounding yeah

Just upgraded and it is physically impossible for me to silence my 14 pro in the leather case. Wtf

 

do you mean that the slider is nearly impossible to easily access in the case? because i have the exact same issue with my 13 pro max leather case lol its not an issue at all with the silicone case

 

Yes! My 11 pro never had that issue but I’m carrying a pen cap around now because I still haven’t figured out a way to make it happen without pulling my case off every time. Very annoying.

 

I would simply use a different case

Love to spend $65 on a case that has worked for my last 3 iPhones to simply use a different one because I didn’t realize this one wasn’t the same. Excellent point!

a box of pens is so much cheaper than a new case anyway and that way youve got like 12 phone silencers at your disposal
